INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
When hiring people, you should make sure you find the people that are passionate about the brand and what it stands for. It is great to have a team with the brightest people in the company but sometimes they do not work well in groups. A team that can be inspired and see your same vision, can perform better than the best employees working individually. As a manager is very important to find the right team and not always focus on the brightest, but rather who is passionate and enthusiastic about the brand.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
The message in this article can be used not only in business, but in any team environment. Obviously when you create a team, you want the best people available so that you have the best chance to succeed. This can and does work in sports and business. The hiring process can be compared to try-outs for a sports team. The manager or coach looks at all his possibilities and picks the best available to develop and make them even better. You do not want to have to teach the the sport or job, just enhance the abilities and skills that they already have and help them work best on the team.

"Inspiring your team begins in the hiring"
By hiring a person that is already enthusiastic about what your company does, you've kind of proven the phrase "two birds with one stone." You're hiring a person that can do the specific job you want, and you're hiring a person that you don't need to inspire to do great things for your company. I've seen many applicants, at my former employer, that just wanted a job. They didn't care about anything other than a paycheck. Obviously, people that uninspired and unenthusiastic about the company I worked for did not get hired. I remember one applicant, in particular, that wanted to work for my company very badly. They were enthusiastic about the product we had to offer. They were hired on the spot and told to come back tomorrow to start training. It's people like that, that employers need to look for in employees. People that are already enthusiastic about a product or service that you have to offer. With those type of employees: training will be relatively easy, inspiring those employees with be a lot less stressful, and those employees will always accept creative criticism more easily than others.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Before ever hiring an employee, the biggest part of building a team happens; inspiring them. Clayton explains that inspiring your employees and potential employees is a key part in making them see your vision and/or mission. If you can manage to inspire them, they will invest more of themselves into the team and their work. Inspiration sparks passion within people and with passion comes greater effort. I would have to say that Clayton's view is quite common. No one wants to work for someone who seem unexcited about their own company's work.

Glenn Clayton is right. Plain and simple good, inspired people are the best ones to hire for a job. They are the type of people who are already motivated and driven with a sense knowing what direction they want to go in with their career. Why hire someone who is not interested with the company? They are the ones who will not care about the business or what they are doing to it. Their only concern would be getting a paycheck.

I agree with hiring people from the beginning of the company or any time should be excited to be working for this company. Having good attitude towards others and representing the company in a positive way leads to great things. If the employees are inspired by your brand or company they inspire others to become part of it and with social media good representation can be real good for the company.

Glenn Clayton have a great idea when starting a business. He said, "for me I think it starts with finding the right team members, finding people who are already passionate and driven about whatever their particular talent or gift is, and then giving them a mission, a vision, and a path forward." Having them kind of people starting a business with your can help you and your business become successful

Inspiring The Team Begins With The Hiring
The people a company hires has a lot to do with what they will bring forth to the company. An example would be where I work. I work at a very well known car dealership with an amazing brand. Any dealership knows that a car salesmen or saleswoman cannot be shy because they have to approach the customer. Each company has a personality type that needs to be filled. They do not need to be all the same, but they need to have the same outcome because the company isn't the brand that makes it great, it's the employees for making the experience.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Passionate people are rare. If you have a potential hire who is passionate (ESPECIALLY ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS)then you should hire them immediately. Any person can be trained to perform the actions of a job, but it passion that drives the engine of success. In addition, a passionate and enthusiastic person can have a ripple effect throughout your business. This can foster a very dynamic and exciting work force and be beneficial in more ways than just the job in which they perform.

I definitely agree with this article. Employees are a major component in the functioning of a business. First and foremost they must be a united team and work together for a common goal, to make the company run smoothly and efficiently. Having the right people on the team is tricky and as the article says, even when hiring, consideration for their place in the team must be taken based on the skills that they can bring to the table.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Surprisingly, inspiring your team should start with the hiring process. Managers have a responsibility to inspire their team members and enhance their enthusiasm about the company. Individuals who are already passionate about a company or brand and have a vision, are what managers are seeking most. A successful business is comprised of a team who truly believes in the company and wants to be a part of the organization and make a difference. Once an employee realizes they have the potential to make an impact, they can easily become inspired.
