INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Clayton has inspired me with this blurb. This idea doesn’t just belong in the topic of business and hiring, but I think these ideas can be used for any team building. When I read this piece, my mind went straight to my church family, which has recently begun to stress the need of the community for outreach programs. Even though I have been attending this church for a few years now, I recently became quite active in church, and it seems like most people just want to show up and get their daily dose of God from the cheap seats. Of course, I cannot hire nor fire people who I attend church with. I do, however, think that the teambuilding steps Clayton hashes over apply to the missions teams of the church. Before a person either chooses a mission team to join or is picked for a team, passion for the mission opportunity is essential, and this passion can be enhanced by the realization of the impact the mission has, not just on the community, but the church, and the person involved.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Passion is a major part of working. While hiring individuals you always must seem passionate and enthusiastic about your job. If i was to ever get a job offer from someone who seemed as if they had the most boring day today job i think i would pass. Hiring people should put fire in someones eyes so they feel passionate to work.

When looking for employees you must inspire your employees that you already have. Let them want others to have the same experience that they are having. Have incentives when referring potential employees. The existing employees know how the company is ran so they know just the right people that will fit it just great!

INSTANT MBA: If You Want Your Employee's Respect, Do The Dirty Work Yourself
I very much agree with this concept. I work at a roofing company and one of the owner's still gets on the roof to do what needs to be done. I think that leading by example and doing whatever needs to be done is the quickest way to gain respect. You get someone in there who wants to do nothing but boss people around and all you will get is resentment. Employees want to be respected just like leaders want respect. Showing employees that you aren't afraid of getting dirty goes a long way.

Hiring is an important process, and hiring the right people is critical to the success of any business. There seems to never be enough time to do it right but always enough time to do it over, and hiring is one of those things. Hiring the right staff members the first time can save a manager a huge amount of headache and really bring value to a firm.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
I think this article brings back a very important aspect of making a productive team. Building the right team, is the most integral part of making the team successful. The article is right in putting the importance in the hiring process. If you are building a team from the ground up, starting with hiring is best way to ensure that the team will be fit perfectly. Forcing the pieces of a group to fit is not the right approach to take.

Yes it is hard to inspire a team in order to get them to perform at that higher level. I personally believe that you need to give them a reason to care, or else there just going to give you some artificial enthusiasm which is nothing like the real thing. The best way to get the real thing is to give them an actual real cause. The most common one is pay them. I’d prefer giving them a better work averment or at least be a company that actually does something worthwhile. It’s kind of hard to care when all your company does is make toasters.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
This article is common sense. Hiring people that are passionate and want to be with you for the long term makes up for whatever shortcomings that person might have. The process begins with hiring people that are passionate about your company. The quote at the end sums it all up "When people see that they can have an impact on something bigger than themselves, that's how they get inspired, and that's my approach to inspiring my team."

I believe the hiring process is a real big major factor. I feel Clayton is right when he says the should feel like they can be a difference maker in the business and want nothing but the best for the company! Those are the type of people you want in your group or team!

I agree that inspiring your team begins in hiring. Employment begins when you firs walk in the door and you are hired, which is why it is very important for the interviewer and the interviewee to put their best foot forward. It is important to have inspirational sayings hung on walls and inspirational emails sent out so that employees will always feel inspired.

This is a great article for someone who lacks glare in the workplace and needs to hire some more employees. The article describes how inspiration in your workforce begins the second they sit down for the interview. People begin making opinions the second they see someone and how they act. Therefore when interviewing someone if the interviewer is extremely motivated and inspired by the company then the interviewee will likely carry those emotions on in the job and throughout the career.

I agree with the author and for me I think it starts with finding the right team members, finding people who are already passionate and driven about whatever their particular talent or gift is, and then giving them a mission, a vision, and a path forward. When people see that they can have an impact on something bigger than themselves, that's how they get inspired.
