INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Mr. Clayton's view on inspiring a person before hiring them is correct. If you want to be successful and make your company the best it can possibly be, then you need to hire people that are not only hard working and dedicated, but people that believe in what your message is and want to share their beliefs with others. A strong workplace thrives when like minded people get together and believe in what their doing and want to take it as far as they can.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Glenn Clayton is the president and founder of Appleton Learning, a test preparation and education service. He believes that the key to inspiring your team to greatness begins when you hire them. By recruiting employees who have a passion for the company and the product beforehand, you're setting up a much better team. When people feel that they can bring their talents and skills to a company, and make a change that is bigger than themselves, those people not only become inspired by fresh ideas more easily, they also rub off on the rest of the group. I definitely think this is an interesting take, and ideas like this one are part of why I'm so interested in human resources management.

Link #26 Instant MBA Inspiring your team begins in the hiring.
I like this idea of inspiring people before you hire them. If an employer interviews
me and doesn’t seem very passionate about the company, or doesn’t really want
to be there, I probably will not like the idea of working for him. However, if that
same employer comes in and is excited and wants to get to know me and loves what
he does; then maybe I will like to be a part of that. If that employee can inspire or
influence me at the interview then I believe I will be inspired or influenced in the
actual work environment. As the saying goes, lead by example.

You have to excite the people you're hiring and make sure they see the benefit of your company and the benefits for working for your company. You have inspiring them to want to come to work and reward their efforts if they are doing well. Make them see what you see for starting the company and do everything you can to motivate and inspire your worker.

Instant MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In the Hiring
Inspiring your team does in fact begin with the hiring. But how do you know that the person that you are hiring really believes in your business? This person can putting on just to get hired and when they get the job they can start to slack off. I think that this leads to the demoralization of the other employees because if they see someone slacking off then they might want to slack off too. The fact is you never know exactly who you are hiring until you can see them in action and until they show you that they are in fact a believer in your business they should watched carefully.

Clayton is right, inspiring your team do start with hiring. Why hire someone who doesn’t have a clue about your company? You don’t want to hire people who treat your interview as just another job. You want someone who is interest in your company and adding to it.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
This article discussed the most important element of the hiring process as an object of recruitment. To build a successful team in any scenario requires surrounding one's self with people can be motivated. The only way to accomplish this difficult task is to recruit individuals that seem to fit the necessary criteria. In the article the author gave a few good examples on how business owners and managers can go about acquiring the best candidates. I agreed with this article's message for the most part.

I agree with this article. The article mentions that inspirations begins within the hiring process. If a manager or owner is enthusiastic about their job then, you’ll likely be excited to work for them too. I think when employees inspire other employees and are happy with their jobs, the overall performance morale is high. As mentioned in previous post, I worked for a retail giant. The customers who gave me positive feedback was great but, I dreaded going to work. The managers had their own agendas and didn’t motivate the team. I will implement this in my future career as a way to gain a positive relationships with employees as well as encourage them to inspire someone else. When you have happy employees, they’re likely to remain with the company and share positive experiences with others and your business will gain popularity as a result.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
I think most managers know this already. I agree with this article as well. However, it happens that once you get through the training you realize that you are the only motivated because it is new to you. It can be hard not to let other people's poor attitudes reflect in your actions and work. Managers should also work on helping maintain the inspiration throughout the workplace all the time.

INSTANT MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In The Hiring
Everybody has to get inspired in some type of way. I inspire my team by making them feel special and not knocking them all the times and if I am knocking them about something, Im keeping them positive at the same time. Inspiring your team comes from a driven leader and a motivator. Nobody wants a dull boring leader than your team is going to be dull and boring. People want a driven force not just a leader.

Instant MBA: Inspiring Your Team Begins In the Hiring
This article makes a lot of sense and is important concept for anyone who is hiring or building a team. Many times you can find someone's passion and what drives them at the first interview. If they don't seem like a good fit then, they will only be harder to motivate in the monotonous everyday task that work may sometimes require. People with a passion and purpose for what they are doing work hard and pay more attention to detail in work because they take ownership of what they do. You want to hire people who don't need to constantly be motivated and can motivate themselves.

Inspiration is important in running a business. It goes back to passion. When people are inspired by something it leads to them becoming passionate about something. If you can lead your employees into having a passion about their work and wanting to inspire others your business will have a competitive advantage.

In business it is very important that you are inspired and that your employees are inspired as well! A way to do that is being passionate about your business and hiring people who are also passionate about their work. You can make sure that your team stays inspired by making sure the people you hire are those who are passionate about what they want to do. It also helps to stay inspired because as long as you are passionate about what you do, your employees will want to be inspired and become inspired as well.

This article has a very valid point in that a successful team starts at the beginning. It reminds me of a dream team in sports, but in this instance its for business. The manager is able to put a customized team together, he or she gets to choose who will work for that team. By giving managers this ability it allows for the best skilled and motivated workers to take part in the business. This also puts responsibility on that manager to what happens after that team is put together. If the team fails it is on the person who put the team together but if it succeeds then the company and team members benefit. If managers hire the bad apples we always hear about then the team will implode on itself so it is very important to weed those people out and find the gems that come in for the job.
