Having a great culture is always awesome because that sets the mood for when people go into there jobs. Culture is everything if you ask me, just like facebook let there employees have there own culture but putting up weird pictures representing who they are and how there personalities are build around there culture. Culture can set a company forward because it builds a family base and influences others to work harder if you tell me.

INSTANT MBA: You Keep Up With The Competition By Building Internally
This article hits on some great points about company culture, specifically for young companies. If you focus internally on building a specific culture; that culture will then be seen from the outside by consumers and competitors. The culture of the company sticks better when it isn't established only by top management. When you allow employees and lower level managers some input in the culture of the company they will adopt it and pass along the emphasis to others.

Culture and branding are important in differentiating yourself from other businesses. Even if you are the first, you may cause others to start the same type of business. For this reason you need to build a good culture through the employees by establishing a brand that they believe in.

INSTANT MBA: You Keep Up With The Competition By Building Internally Leah Busque said that, "The people you hire and the culture you build internally is going to be reflected in your brand and who you become externally." I think that nurturing your culture is one of the most effective ways you stay competitive. In order to be successful you must stay competitive with in your industry.

For a company to build internally you start with the culture found within the company/business. I agree that the way to make this happen is to nurture the business and by having a strong center of heart and culture in the business. The center is the start of everything. Meaning that it will stand better when competing against the competition with in your market.

I feel that businesses that don't have a culture or stay true to it have little or no success to speak of. The culture is the backbone of the company and whether the guys in higher positions, like it or not, are the people that sell the business. It is pivotal to a business that the managers in the various businesses pick and choose the right fit for the culture, for the sake of customers. If Best Buy or a company of the like hired people who don't treat customers well I very highly doubt that the customers will speak well of that store. If this were to happen across the nation, how long do you think that these companies will be in business? It is ultimately up to the people in the lower positions to represent the company and its culture to the utmost prestige, so in turn, may reflect on the customers and how much they care for them.

Corporate culture is a vital part of building a business's revenues and minimizing the business's expenses. The more visible the corporate culture, the more motivated are the employees of that company. If employees are motivated to out-work the competition then those employees are also willing to handle more responsibility within the company. This allows for a competitive internal work environment. I agree with this article.

I do believe you have to have your business as solid as possible in order to stay competitive. You cannot have your company falling apart from within. If your company has their stuff together, than it would be able to focus on keeping up with the other companies. If the company does not have their internal organization up to par, the company will crumble from the inside out and individuals will lose focus. Now the other company does not have to break you down because you are doing it to yourself.

I agree with the article that culture is one of the most important things in a business. Your culture is what makes you stand out from the rest of the people in your market. I also agree that the culture that is show internally will reflect your business. If your employees believe in the culture of your business they will reflect it when they are dealing with customers.

INSTANT MBA: You Keep Up With The Competition By Building Internally
"Culture is one of the most sacred assets that a young company can have, and one that's constantly in jeopardy, particularly when [the company is] growing so fast." I really like that statement. Having a strong culture is a part of your brand. Employees who are enthusiastic about the culture and brand of your company are what makes your company. Customers who see happy employees also become enthusiastic about the company and the products they offer.

I agree with the article that culture is one of the most important things in a business. Any company can make a great product and one up the competition, but it is the people in the organization that really determine how far a computer will go. If you have a great foundation and culture, you have an edge over the competition.
