INSTANT MBA: You Keep Up With The Competition By Building Internally
I agree with the article, culture means everything. I know first hand that working at a company with a negative culture can lead to that company be unsuccessful. It is important to establish a positive and encouraging culture that enjoys helping each other out. That helpful culture will spill over into how you treat your customers and ultimately how you build the company.

This article covers what a company is to do internally in order for them to build. It starts with the company culture founded within. I can agree with what Busque says pointing out that the only way to nurture your company by having a strong center of culture at the heart of the company. The center is where it all starts so if everything is meshing at the core then the company will stand a better chance at surviving and competing against the competition.

True culture is a valuable asset which many companies takes for granted. Without a culture that company values are on papers but the employee with not show it. A company with strong culture can use that to set themselves aside from the pressure of competitors. Company with positive culture are easily recognised by their actions. If a company have weak or no culture employee get confused and show lack of direction or what they represent in the organisation. It is very important that every company to create a culture and mould its culture among their employees.

I completely agree with this article. This article states that to be able to compete with competitors, a company should focus on its culture. I have worked in several places. Some companies had a fantastic culture that made me never want to leave, others not so much. The culture of a company is so vital to its success, that it should really be one of the highest priorities of every company. I like that the article says that it is so important for new companies to focus on branding, and to do this they should create a strong culture. I completely agree that if you create a strong culture within a company it will reflect in their brand and products.

INSTANT MBA: You Keep Up With The Competition By Building Internally
The author is correct in stating that the internal culture of a company is vitally important to its success. When I was in management at the number one fast food chain, it was so important that we (the managers) treated our employees with respect and built an internal culture of respect. We were taught that if we showed the employees respect that we, in turn, would more than likely receive it back. This cycle resulted in a mutually respectful environment in which all the employees strived to keep our company at number one. We were all proud to say we represented this chain and this, in turn, definitely helped us to keep our number one status or, in this case, not only keep up with the competition but continue to surpass it.

Leah Busque's say, "The people you hire and the culture you build internally is going to be reflected in your brand and who you become externally." Leach explains why it's important to hire the right employees in your company because will be reflecting you or your business

INSTANT MBA: You Keep Up With The Competition By Building Internally
Some of the most successful companies in the world (Apple, Google, IKEA) have become that way due to their strong organizational culture. These companies have built a brand that is trusted among consumers, and they have created a culture that attracts and retains employees. No matter how much a company spends on advertising and marketing, the real success can be measured by how much is invested in the development of its human capital, its employees and reputation.

I believe this article is very true. In today's marketplace, it is important to have something unique about your company. People want a product/service that is different and unlike others. When you hire people who have a passion for your company and when your employees are in a positive company culture, it can have many benefits on the success of your business. When you provide to your employees and focus on their happiness and well-being, they will more likely be happier and work harder knowing that they are working in a positive environment. From what I have learned previously, customer happiness is a result of employee happiness. If you want a positive brand image, have a positive work culture.

Leah is absolutly right when she said keeping a strong culture is needed to build a brand. Employees are the biggest intangible assest that companies have. With a defined culture the company will be able to build a defined brand. The brand is what others percieve the company to be, the first thought that comes to one's mind when they see or hear the product. Having a strong culture helps to keep the company together and unified.

This article talks about keeping up with your company by building it internally. Having a successful company internally starts with the people you hire and having your own company culture. "When the success of your company leads to a bunch of other similar startups in the marketplace, Busque says that nurturing your culture is one of the most effective ways you stay competitive." To keep up, you need to focus on branding your business, and one way to do that is through a strong company culture. "The people you hire and the culture you build internally is going to be reflected in your brand and who you become externally."

When starting your own company, your culture should be a very big part of your company now and in the future. The internal aspects of yourself lead to uncovering your cultural path in the growing years of the company. I agree with the article in hiring employees whom offer similar cultural views as your company and whom are willing to grow with the company.

This article says that in order to keep up with competition and sustain growth is to build your company from the inside. Building your company from the inside starts with getting your employees familiar with the brand and what the business stands for. If your brand and your business is not on the same page then your business will not be able to gain market share and will be a failure. One can take from this article to always inform your employees what your brand stands for and what the business means to you and this will let you communicate it properly.

Upon the success of a company, other similar companies will often enter the same market. To combat this increase in competition, a company should differentiate themselves through their culture. By focusing on building the company culture, the company will change the people that work for them and in turn, the products that the company delivers. Ultimately, the company culture has an effect on the way consumers and others outside the company think of your business.

You Keep Up With the Competition by Building Internally
Everything in life has to have a strong foundation in order to stay strong. This is very true for companies. In science, atoms are the building blocks; in business worlds employees are the building blocks. The companies that one needs to worry about that grow are those that treat their employees gratefully. Something that also is a foundation is the culture; as the article mentions. The culture of the company is how the employees view the company, not the outside world. That is something that needs to be known and some businesses lack. Overall, a great way to keep up with the competition is to satisfy the employees because in reality, they hold everything together no matter how "small" their job may be.

Having an initial hit on a product that makes your company successful doesnt mean that it will stay like that in the long run. As other companies realize that your product is a hit, they will start making similar companies producing your same product. The only way to stay ahead of the game is to build a strong company culture. Employees need to focus on their brand and what it stands for and by ensuring your company strong internal culture employees are more likely to stick with your company and not switch to work for other competitors.
