INSTANT MBA: Conversations can pull your Business out of a Rut I like this article because it gives a simple solution to a difficult problem. I have been guilty of over thinking an issue and trying to develop a solution on my own (taking hours or days) when all it could have took was a simple conversation with the right person to come up with an even better solution (30mins). You do gain an incredible amount of knowledge and advice when you talk and network with the right people. It is important to realize that many people have gone through the same exact problems you are facing today, and all it can take is a simple conversation to find your solution.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
The ideas presented in this article are incredibly important in today's business environment. So many people communicate via social media, cell phones, and emails that they have forgotten the importance of face-to-face conversations. This article suggests that before you hire an advisor or pay for market data, you talk to your peers about their own challenges and successes in their prospective industry and develop your own solutions based on their feedback. You cannot underestimate the value of human interaction in regards to the success or failure of a business. Humans are the most important assets to a company and when you start to forget that than your firm may suffer.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
Mr. Richard Grefe is the director of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, a professional association of design. He advises business people to never forget the value of thoughtful conversation. He states that real problem resolution doesn't come from social media, in-depth research, or constantly checking out Google; instead it comes from conversations between people who can incite curiosity and offer fresh perspectives. This is an interesting idea to me, because while I agree with him on the whole, I disagree with his discount of social media. I belong to several Facebook interest groups where we have text discussions and share news articles and our takes on them. Even in college courses we are given assignments to respond to our classmates' postings on discussion boards to support the free flow of ideas. Technology is to be embraced and should enhance conversations that may not be possible due to geographical constraints.

Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut Honestly, in my personal opinion yeah we do over use our internet source on basically every topic, question and problem we have not trying to find closer companion who are in the same field with you to help find a better and more understanding solution. We need to start over asking question about this topic and this prob.e min our home office to try to figure thing out than hiring or find outside source to solve your problem. So i agree with this statement.

This is a good article with good points. I think that people definitely overlook the value of a person's ability to hold a good conversation and the way that people can develop their people skills with practice. Knowledge doesn't just stop at being book smart. When I hear the term "street smart," I think of a person that knows how to carry oneself and can deal well with others. I think that knowing how to conversate is a really important thing, especially in the business world.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
This article is trying to say if a company lacks conversations then there just wouldnt be business. Tasks and objectives will never get done employees will lack communication. The main thing in a business is communication, if you cant communicate with your employees then you might as well label your business as a failed business because in any business or relationship you have to have communication and open conversation so it can be successful. Companies should lack open communication for ideas and how to grow the company.

Our current society is filled with electronic communication, everything phase of our life we relying on some type of electronics, hell majority of society can even do long handed division, we simply are ready to pull out a calculator. All though electronics were created to help simply life, it should kill our own work ethic yet along our creativity. We are so reliant and dependent on social media that we forget to pick our heads up and speak to those around us. Many thoughts are created through experiences and by hearing another’s experience through out life can inspire something creativity within you.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out of A Rut
Deep conversations with someone who is interested in your business can really spark up some new ideas. Everyone relies on technology these days to improve their business or to try and pul their business out of its hole. Most companies don't realize that just sitting down with someone who shares an interest in the company and just having a low key business conversation will strike up ideas for your company's success. Getting ideas from others is always a good thing, and those who try and just rely on their own ideas to stimulate their company can end up in failure.

Personal interactions always make for a better way with dealing with your business operations. An email is just not as personal and talking face to face makes some conversations easier and they are normally communicated better. Talking with others in the business makes for a better environment in general. In today's world we are so wrapped up in our technology that it becomes more and more difficult to have a conversation face to face. When you do have a conversation face to face then it makes the business better when it comes to presentations and other interactions with business partners.

After reading this article, I can attest to this theory that communication via technology has taken over and we forget that as humans it is imperative to remain social (in person). I this day and age, knowledge is literally at the tip of our fingertip. We get so caught up in the new technology that we’re like robots. The things and people around us is placed to the side for materialistic items of no personal (intimate) value. In the past, I found myself paying more to my phone rather than my parents which frustrated my mom when she would ask me to do something. Sometime later, I realized how much my life was centered on technology. After going through life’s ups and downs, I learned to value the communication in person with my family, friends, clients, and the elderly. I’ve learned several life lessons and gained an abundance of wisdom just through talking and listening. In my career, I hope to find a balance between improving technology and communication among people face to face.

Link #18 Instant MBA Conversations Can Pull Your Business out of a Rut
I totally agree with this idea of conversations. A lot of times people over think things
and cant figure out how to fix a problem. You can be with friends and just talking
about anything, and then out of no where through that conversation you figure
out your problem at work. It may only be a word or phrase that someone said that
sparked your idea. Sometime it can be as simple as that, and not planned. You could
also get your employees together and brainstorm to get ideas. It is very hard to
think of an idea without talking about it. Even if you think of the idea in your head
you need to speak it to put it into action. So yes conversation is very important and I
believe it could pull a business out a rut.

It is always a great idea to pick the minds of people who have had successful careers and asking how they did it. Having conversations with people allows your mind to work without it feeling like work. If the person you are talking to has passion for what he did in the same field as you it may allow for you to be inspired again to work as hard as you did before. It can also give you a new outlook on what you thought about the world in which you work in. Talking to others or getting advise could also lend new strategies into which direction a business should go. This is basically an opportunity to get free advise from someone who has been in your shoes and walked down the successful path.

INSTANT MBA: Tackle The Problems That Need Solving Right Now
This article presents a good argument about the object of procrastination. If a problem arises in the daily operation of business the problem should be solved as soon as possible. Any matter that slows the scope of success is a matter that is counterproductive and counter productivity will hinder what a business is capable of for as long as it is a problem. Therefore, if a problem exists for too long then it costs the business in the long run. The problems that are current should always be solved before long-term problems are.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
I agree with this article 100%. In todays world not enough people are having conversations with each other. With the internet becoming so advanced and social media to get on, more and more people are not communicating face to face, but over the internet. Talking to people in your field and having a conversation with them allows you to come up with ideas and helps you solve your problems by hearing about their experiences with similar problems. I also agree that to succeed you have to be curious and thoughtful. not all knowledge can be found on the internet, some knowledge comes from other peoples experience.
