INSTANT MBA: Tackle The Problems That Need Solving Right Now
The author of this article, Jill Shah, addresses the issue with healthcare and finding solutions for problems your facing now. She created a website that helps patients find others with similar issues and solutions. Everyone must be their own advocacy for healthcare. Keep tackling your problems until you have the solution. The more you persist, the sooner the answer will be found. We may not like the answer, but at least you have one. Don't sit back and wait for the answer, go find it. It could save your life!

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
Person-to-person interaction is always a good way to learn. In my personal opinion, even though we can find all kinds of information in the Internet, a good conversation with someone is more interesting than sitting in front of a computer. In most cases, by talking to someone, who is a good speaker and advisor, we can find the motivation to learn any knowledge because we can feel inspired by other people. Moreover, personally interacting with somebody can help us gain more than knowledge. During a conversation we can expand our social networks, and we can sell ourselves to find a job or any opportunity to support our business.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
Many of us immediately turn to the internet whenever we need information about something because it's very convenient for us. I believe having an actual conversation with someone who has the information and knowledge that we need is so much more helpful than looking it up on the internet. You can ask questions throughout the conversation, you can give your input, etc. Having an interactive conversation with someone, or just listening to a speaker, in my opinion is so much more informative than reading tons and tons of information on the internet. I myself love surfing the web for information, but I find that talking and listening to other people help me more than skimming through articles on the web. Just imagine surfing the web for information on how to start a business! Can you imagine how many articles would come up? If you were to have a conversation with someone who has actually started their own business, I have no doubt that you would learn so much more from that person then you would reading through articles on the internet. Going out and asking people questions and having conversations with others who know what they are doing and have experience in the business world would not only help someone build their contacts but it would also give that person information that they are looking for.

I honestly agree witht this article, many of us run to the internet for information because like Elvia said the internet has made this so convenient. It is true that conversations with others bring insight that surfing the web may not give. Its the difference between sitting down with a 90 year old grandparent and soaking up all their wisdom and reading abou their experience from a book. It is much more informative to have a conversation with someone and get inspired because words have more meaning when the human voice is behind them. Talking to someone who has been there and done that makes doing the same thing more than an idea, it becomes something tangible and real.

Instant MBA: Conversations can pull your business out of a rut In today’s day and age, people are so quick to turn to the internet for help when the answer is right there staring them in their faces. I think that the internet enables us as human beings, because we do not use our brains-not to say that we are stupid-but we are lazy. We refuse to talk to someone about a problem we are having or just have a different perspective besides our own. Having that mind frame in the business world won’t get anyone very far. More business owners and people in general, should learn how to back away from technological sources and start using real people as sources. And maybe then, business will start to operate properly in every aspect.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
I find the point of this article very interesting. I currently work in a chemical plant environment as process support and carpool with other individuals in similar roles. We have often stated that our best ideas are discovered in the ride to and from work. This is one of the only times that we take time to discuss ideas and thoughts about issues in the plant, since we support different areas. Many times we find that we have spent several hours in research when we could have shortened that time if we had spent a few minutes in conversation with the correct person. In any work place it is very important to have individuals that you trust and respect to share thoughts and ideas with to help you validate your thoughts or to help bring up a new way at looking at the same problem or issue.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut I think this article points out a great point regarding have conversations about business decisions instead of doing research. As a society we want to know everything about a topic, the facts, the stats, the how to do it, when it do it, ect. This information is great information and relatively easy to obtain because of the internet, but I can’t answer the possibly the ultimate question, was it worth the sacrifice of your time, energy, and how did it affect your family. Personal experiences answers are not quantitative and can only come from talking to people.

Just knowing facts and information isn't everything. You must be able to communicate and have conversations with other individuals on a daily basis. That is where you will find some of your greatest information. People give information in a completely different way than you could find on any web page. Different people have different perspectives on things. When getting information from the internet or encyclopedia, you're getting just facts, but when asking real people, you're getting experiences.

I agree with what this article is saying. Personal experience can go a lot further than just obtaining the knowledge necessary to get something done. Someone with personal experience can likely give you the bad with the good. Where someone just obtaining the facts will more likely only be able to tell you just the basic knowledge they acquired through the internet, etc. Word of mouth can be a very powerful tool in business today.

Although we can find virtually any piece of information on the Internet, that is not always the best source to finding a problem's solution. I agree with the article in the aspect that the best ideas come from people. A conversation can result in the exchange of many great ideas. I may research a topic for hours and not gain nearly as much as I could have by talking to someone who knows the subject matter. People are creative beings and conversations are one of the greatest ways to provoke thought. Bouncing ideas off of one another is an easy and often better way to come up with new ideas or solutions rather than spending hours reading facts.

Face to face communication is always losing out to the internet it seems, but being able to talk to some on in front of you is so much more valuable than looking at something online. When you read something online you're probably reading something from more than one person and you're getting opinions that you don't need; when you're actually speaking to someone you're getting the most important advice and you're getting someone who probably has experience with what you need help with.

Having a face to face conversation is a whole lot better than a Skype or any other form of technology communication. When taking into consideration where body language is power, it is the best to convey a lot of information through nonverbal communication. Even with today where we can talk to many people over long distances, it is best for face to face communication. This way through personal communication you can help yourself out of a difficult time in your business.

INSTANT MBA: Conversations Can Pull Your Business Out Of A Rut
This article is very similar to article #17. Again, “people” is the focus. You’ve probably heard this before but “It’s not what you know, it’s WHO you know.” I think that this article pretty much sums up that quote. Although we live in an "Always connected" world, as a society we seem to be getting more disconnected with reality.

Personal interaction is always a better opportunity when it comes to dealing with your business operations. Everyone knows that talking face to face is much more personal than email. Just talking to people around you enlightens you into the community and allows you to pool your thoughts and processes with others verbally. Through this interaction, it is important to note that it is much easier to network and develop connections this way. Sometimes a good conversation with the right person can be what helps your company get out of a bad situation or step up to the next level.
