INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson
I have always believed that to get the job of our dreams we have to be capable of selling ourselves to a prospective employer. Going to school and learning skills is what make us qualified for certain positions in terms of knowledge; however, we are going to struggle to find a job if we cannot sell our skills during an interview. When we believe and have faith in what we are trying to sell, it is more likely that we will succeed. If an entrepreneur does not have sales skills, then he or she is going to struggle to find resources to start the business. For example, if I come up with an excellent business idea, I will need financial help to cover the initial investment costs, but I have to be able to sell the idea to someone else and convince him that it is in fact a good idea to get financing.

Instant MBA: An Entrepreneur is Also a Winning Salesperson
I agree with this article 110%. Sometimes we exclude entrepreneurs as being a sales person when in reality, they are considered to be the number one salespeople. The only difference is, as mentioned in the article, they are selling their business as a whole and not a product. This means that they are shining light on their entire business, and consistently thinking of diverse ways to make it more enhanced. This article is pretty much self-explanatory.

INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson
After reading this article I definitely agree that an entrepreneur is also a full-time salesperson. In order to sale your business you must possess sales skills. I think it is very important for future and present employees to seek experience in sales to acquire the skills needed to sale their ideas to others, to convince investors to invest in a business venture, etc. I agree that if you are an entrepreneur wanting to succeed in the business world, having sales skills is very important. This article was a great read.

INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson
Sales people is what entrepreneur's are made of. For example, if my boss wasn't able to sell chicken, our business would have failed. If my co-manager couldn't sell chicken, our business would have failed. These people bring in people through coupons, special events, catering orders, etc. They are what keeps our business go round. A business without sales people will not last long because you will sell nothing and make zero profits.

INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson
I absolutely agree with the article in that you have to sell yourself in order to be a good entrepreneur. I think that when a salesman makes his way to the top they are never satisfied still. Donald Trump started off really low and slowly made his way to the top and I think it takes loving your business. When you love what you do, the money and the perks of the business will come later.

INSTANT MBA: The Most Powerful Thing You Can Do Is Be Real
People climbing the corporate ladder sometimes get lost in the process. They lose focus on the task and in turn lose themselves. Remember to keep your values and morals and keep it real. Be true to yourself, and don't fall into corruption.

INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson In the business world, it’s crucial to be able to sell yourself to others. When you’re trying to expand and get someone to join your business, if you can’t make yourself look good then you probably won’t end up with many partners. I think this is an area that many entrepreneurs overlook because they are eager to get their idea a product out in the market. They may have a great product or idea but still nobody is willing to invest in them and this is simply because they don’t have good sales skills.

Alt link 67: INSTANT MBA: The Most Powerful Thing You Can Do Is Be Real
Jack Welsh is one of the most influential leaders of our day. Thanks to him GE became one of the most innovative corpartions on the plant. His idea of being ture to who you are speaks volumes. If this is a practice he himself follows then I for one think it is advice worth taking.

INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson
The job of a salesman is to establish a connection between what a customer needs and the perfect product for them. As an entrepreneur, buying and selling your business depends on if you have the ability to show that it is worth buying. Experience in sales helps tremendously with this. At my previous job, selling nutrition supplements allowed me first-hand experience of what it’s like to establish this connection for a person.

INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson
When I first saw how many marketing and sales courses were required for my major, small business management- entrepreneurship, I didn't understand the reasoning. But after taking these courses and learning a lot more about what it takes to start up your own business, learning how to be a good salesperson may be one of the greatest skills I can hope to acquire. If I can't sell myself and my business plan, then I will never be able to succeed. I need to be able to sell myself as well as my idea to investors, employees, customers, banks, and many others. Without the skills to do so, I will never be able to open my own business.

I think that this article makes a good point about having good sales skills. Even if your business does not include sales of a product, as a leader you need good sales skills to sell ideas to your business partners, employees, etc. These skills are very important for a leader to have this skill so that they can be an effective leader. Sales skills are good for any business professional to have. As a business professional you need sales skills to sale your ideas to your employees so that your company can work as a team.

INSTANT MBA: An Entrepreneur Is Also A Winning Salesperson
I've tried working in sales and it just wasn't for me; so maybe I'm not meant to be an entrepreneur but I do agree that sales skills are important to have if you want to be one. If you're trying to start a business up then it's important to be able to sell it to investors and once you've done that you need to be able to sell all your products to potential buyers. If you don't have that way of thinking then you need to take time to acquire it or don't start your own business.

Good article. I’ve never really thought of sales in this way. Haden has some really great points. Whether you like it or not, you’ll be a salesman in one form or another in your lifetime. I think that it’s important to realize this especially if you intend to become a business owner. The dependency of you business will solely be decided upon on how well you “sell” your business idea, whether to the bank to get a loan, or to your customers
