I’ve noticed that when people obtain a position of power it starts to go to their head. They start leading in a way that comes off as demeaning to others and it starts to have an impact on employees. It is important to frequently ask others what they think of your leading style to ensure that you are being as productive as you can be.

The article states, "Nothing’s more helpful than finding out how others see you. If you can conduct that exercise in an impersonal way, you have information you can’t get any other way." That being said, as humans it becomes easy to get caught up in the routine of daily living. Most of the time we're so busy that we put off an anti social like vibe. Even if you aren't purposely putting off such a vibe it's good to get feedback on how others perceive you. I care about what others think of me to the extent that I can transform it into something positive but, when it's maliciously done that's where I big to differ as to whether it's necessary.

Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
There are pros and cons to knowing what coworkers think of you. There are some things we do that we don't realize can be annoying to others, like talking too much or interrupting. With the thought of others, you can improve that and learn what not to do. On the positive note, if you have a fan club at work, great! Keep it up because it is good to be liked within the business; coworkers need role models.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your CoWorkers Really Think About You
Never lose sight of your relationship with your coworkers. Sometimes you get carried away with your job or start letting things go to your head and you don't realize that you might be changing into a complete jerk. Never let that happen. Always stay true to yourself and remember that you are no better than anyone else, even though your job title might state that. Keep a positive work environment and always stay true to who you are

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
Knowing what your coworkers think about you may inspire you to make a change. The Tv show UnderCover Boss, is a great example of how to make improvements based upon what people think about you. I agree with the author and for me I think it starts with finding the right team members, finding people who are already passionate and driven about whatever their particular talent or gift is, and then giving them a mission, a vision, and a path forward. When people see that they can have an impact on something bigger than themselves, that's how they get inspired.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
I think alot of people will enjoy reading this article becuase it's very important to stay in contact with all of your employees. Know how they're feeling and know what you can do differently that will make things go smoother. My current manager holds numerous chat sessions with us and it's a good exercise because we talk about many different things. He'll ask if we have any problems or concerns with how things have been going recently and if there is anything extra that he can do that will help that. It's a really good way for him to know how his employees feel and think about him

Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
Its very important to know what other workers think of you if they are wondering in the best concerns. When employees really know each other then they can have more fun when working together. If the employees do not know what their other employees are feeling or where they are coming from then you will never build a relationship that could build trust in the company. One can learn from this to really know your workers and care what they know about you but don't let it get in the work of productivity.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
Sometimes when an individual takes on a management roll they forget just what it takes to be a manager. Some take on an attitude and idea of what a manager should do and they actually don't act like a manager at all. In these situations it is important to know what your coworkers think about you. Now we aren't talking about what they think about your personal life, but what they think about your management style and the way you handle things at work. This can be important information to a manager as they can really see how they are conducting things. This is information that managers cannot get from anywhere else. It can show someone that maybe they are way too strict, or not strict enough. It can show true insight to what others really feel.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Co Workers Really Think About You
Employees are the most important assets in any company and how they are treated can affect the success of the business. As a manager you need to have a good relationship with your employees. Which include being sensitive on how you conduct yourself around them, being too harsh is not a good thing and also being too easy is not good, you just need to know when to be tough and when to be relax. And as the author of the article say, you need to be close to employee t understand their them and be willing to change if necessary.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
I agree with Beers entirely. It is important to know how other people perceive you so that you can be sure to give off the image that you intend. It is important not to let other people tell you how to act, but if you are not coming across as intended the only way to fix the problem is to know what is wrong. I always try to gauge my employees perception of me by listening to what is being said in the office and adjusting the way I go about things accordingly.

66 INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
You really want to know what your coworkers think about you. It could be as simple as asking them what they think about the work you are doing, or just you as a person. Constructive criticism is good for everyone. That way you know what you can do to improve your work and/or relationship with your coworkers.
