INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
Charlotte Beers' testimony makes me realize how important is to hear what others think about me. In a personal environment, sometimes we act in certain ways that bother our friends and family; however, we are not really aware that we should correct somehow our behavior to avoid confrontation. If a relative tells us what they think about us, perhaps we could modify our attitude. Either good or bad criticism should help us improve as human beings. In a work environment, knowing what coworkers think about us might be even more important because we could be endangering our career by just not having the right attitude or behavior at the workplace. In summary, if we take our time to listen to what others have to say about us, we could learn what behaviors we need to correct promptly.

Instant MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
After reading this article, I really began to think about how imperative it is to listen to how others view me. That is not to say that I care if someone judges me, but maybe the provided feedback can show me what type of person I am really portraying to be. Beers testimony should be an eye opener for an abundance of people, just because we feel like it’s supposed to be done that way or saw it done that way, doesn’t necessarily mean that is the correct way to do it. If you listen to what others have to say then maybe you will be able to learn the behaviors that should be accompanied for that particular position. Be the boss that everyone looks up to and not the boss that everyone is afraid of.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
I believe anybody can benefit from knowing what others think about them, especially a manager. As a manager it is very important to know what your colleagues and employees think about you and your management skills, that way you can change the negative things and also continue to improve the positive things. I believe this will help any manager become an even better manager, colleague, and leader. Employees can also benefit from what their managers and coworkers really think about them. This is why it is very important to evaluate managers and employees on a daily basis so that both managers and employees will have an insight on what needs to be improved and what they are doing well so they may continue to grow and improve.

Alt link 66: INSTANT MBA: Don't Be Stubborn And Change Course If Necessary
The market place is a great place to find out information. It's the front line of where producer meets consumer. Consumers are the most rational people in the world, not to metion the most honest people in the world. You have to listen to the marketplace, you can be stuck in your ways and refuse to change if that is what you are being told. Your company will never survive that way.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
If you want to be a really good leader, you want to know what kind of leader you are from your coworkers. I ask what kind of employee I am from other managers and associates to see if I can improve for when I do become a manager. Becoming a really good manager or leader you want to know how others think of you. Even if what you hear might be painful, bear through and figure out how you can improve your behavior. It takes the mind of a real disciplined person to know his faults and fix them.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
The people you have around you know you better than you think. They see your behavior and how you act to certain situations that sometimes you can't see yourself because you are so used to doing them. It's always good to know what other people think about you, good or bad. You might honestly think your doing nothing wrong, but someone else might see it differently. I'm not saying change everything for the people around you, but take a look at what people say and evaluate whether it should be changed or not.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
This occured to me recently. I was just promoted to manager and so much stress was placed on my shoulders that I forgot who I was. I started bossing people around and dictating their every move. Then one night, I worked a shift and everyone would just stop talking completely when I came around them. This wasn't because they were specifically talking about me. It was because none of them felt comfortable around me. It took three weeks of one-on-one's to get to the bottom of what was going on and I am currently working on my behavior. I have learned to pay attention and read how co-workers react to you rather then just doing what you feel is right.

Adjustments need to be made along the course to achieve success. Business is a growing and changing market and we need to make adjustments as we move forward. We can't settle for what worked 5 years ago, the customers needs are always changing and we need to change with them. Work with the customers and change together, this will create a relationship that can last a long time. This change could bring new adventures to your business, don't let stubbornness cause you to miss an opportunity.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You When someone gets promoted to a higher position with more power things could begin to change about that person. The higher position could make them meaner or could actually make them more of a pleasant person but most of the times people become bossy. Co workers could start to look at you differently because of the sudden change in your personality, which could cause you to lose the respect and friendships of many of them. Nobody wants this to happen to them because it creates a bad working environment that could possibly affect the company if it continues to get worse.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
Your coworkers work with you every day. Just as a team operates, they depend on your efforts just as much as you depend on theirs. After countless hours of working alongside each other, emotions can develop in the form of opinions, rumors and gossip. As a manager, it is important to be able to identify this tension between employees. Keeping your employees happy will ensure that your business processes continue to operate at the optimal level.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
I have a coworker at my job, who after getting promoted, became very arrogant. This caused him to become hated by our crew and the productive on his shifts greatly declined. He began talking to the crew and finding out what exactly everyone's problem with him was. Through those conversations, even though they were tough to hear, he learned a lot about himself. This helped him to change before he had lost the respect of the crew completely. By seeing how others saw him, he saw that a change was needed, and he was strong enough to make that change.

This article really portrays the importance of open lines of communication. As a leader, you should value how your employees feels about your leadership style. You should want feedback from them so that you can grow and develop as a leader. This also will allow for your employees to voice their concerns and help you as a leader to tweak your leadership style so that your employees and yourself can work together as a team to create a successful and business and work place.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
It's very important to stay in contact with all of your employees. Know how they're feeling and know what you can do differently that will make things go smoother. My current manager holds numerous chat sessions with us and it's a good exercise because we talk about many different things. He'll ask if we have any problems or concerns with how things have been going recently and if there is anything extra that he can do that will help that. It's a really good way for him to know how his employees feel and think about him.

INSTANT MBA: Know What Your Coworkers Really Think About You
It is extremely important to understand how others feel about your actions in the work place. For the individual working with you and watching your, their perception is their reality. You may not intend to send the message that you are sending with your actions, but if that is what they perceive you may want to take a look and make adjustments. When I first took a supervisor role, it was brought to my attention that some individuals on my team thought I was overbearing. This was not my intent and I didn’t realize this was how I was coming across to my team. After taking a look at my own actions, and placing myself in their shoes I understood why they felt this way. Once I understood, I was able to make adjustments and better support my team in a way that they felt empowered and this allowed them to grow.
