INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way.
Having a bad review isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes these bad reviews are just as useful as good reviews. These bad reviews give the company a chance to see what they are doing right and what they could be doing wrong. By knowing what they could be doing wrong, they have the chance to fix it. They have a chance to change things and fix the situation with the customer. This can help the business to grow. When they are able to learn from the mistakes and make right with the customer, they become more creditable. No company will always be perfect and always have a good review, but when they can change the wrongs they have a better chance at doing it right the next time.

Negative comments can help a business. It's great to look at negative feedback in a positive way. It teaches you what needs to be changed about your business in order to boost sales. Like the article says, bad reviews can give you a chance to make it up to the customers. There are businesses who hire someone to be in charge of their social media sites, and when a bad review is posted, the business will reply to it and make it up to the customer by sending them a new product, or helping them with the problem they experienced.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
I usually refer to yelp.com or a site that has customer reviews. Many times I will base my decision on these reviews on whether or not to do business at these certain places. Needless to say, when customers write positive reviews it is beneficial for the company and is a great way to gain new customers. However, negative reviews can be an advantage as well because you are aware of what exactly went wrong with that client and can incorporate ways to resolve that problem. If a company has endless praises and positive feedback with no negative reviews, it can look suspicious or too good to be true. When an employee is aware of the possibility of a review from the customer, they are more likely to do a better job. There is no better way to truly understand how well or poorly your business is doing than to hear it from the customers themselves.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
This was a very informative article on how reviews can be positive for a business. Reviews can be a powerful tool in business. Whether good or bad, they always have a positive outcome when looked at from the right way. This article seems to stress taking the good from the bad. Very good article overall.

I never would have thought that bad reviews could boost your business. This article explains how they can actually help you later on. First of all, it gives you good feedback as to what you are doing wrong. It helps you look more credible, and it also gives you a chance to make things right with that customer. Gathering these kinds of reviews can help a company's credibility, which will bring in new business. Being aware of these reviews, a company knows when a customer is not satisfied and can work to address their problem. Receiving criticism helps a company recognize its weaknesses and work on strengthening them.

I partially agree with this article. Though, I believe the bad review can help a company to know its weakness and work to improve them.It can also hurt the business and it maybe too late to make the improvements especially restaurants. Once the reputation has been damage it takes a lot of time and energy to repair. Sometimes, many customers once they see negative reputation they never change their minds and they tell their friend. Remember messages that are pass through the mouth are the most persuasive.

"Bad reviews can boost business in a big way"
I never thought of bad reviews like that. It makes sense that they would give you credibility. If I saw only good reviews about a company, I would think the company is writing those reviews and not actual customers. Feedback is a little more obvious. You will learn why/how a customer is disgruntled, and then think of ways to fix the problem, not only for them but for future customers as well.

I understand the concept that Matt is saying but I don't think bad reviews boost a business. Yes, reviews can help monitor customer satisfaction and create the opportunity to amend dissatisfaction. As Matt also said, offering an official review process can help employees stay more conscious about their customer interaction. I don't understand how bad reviews can boost a business or help you look more credible. Maybe I am being too literal when reading his article. Fixing a customer complaint through a review process may show others that the company handles complaints well but to me it would not make the company more credible.

It's true that bad review can also help to boost business a a way that could not be done with good ones. Without know the bad reviews the business may never see that side of the business that they have been missing all along. The bad reviews can let people see the bad comments and make a solution to them because there is a reason on why there is bad reviews in the first place. One can learn from this in order to boost business a company has to read the good and bad reviews.

I agree with the article. If you are receiving nothing but fluffy, positive reviews it may look fake. These false or false looking reviews can discourage consumers with getting involved with your company and can keep you from working on issues that need to be addressed.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
Reviews written by customers can have many positive effects on a business. Employees should put forth more effort when providing a service so that they business does not receive such harsh reviews. After all, bad reviews can close a business and take the employees' jobs. Also, bad reviews give a business good insight on things that they might be doing wrong or not up to customer satisfaction. Any problem a customer has can be seen by others as well as your companies responses/efforts to help them in their situation. Reviews will attract more business for your company by allowing reluctant customers peer feedback based on the companies effort and work.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
In business reviews can be positive or negative but in a sense they are all positive. Any exposure is good exposure and the more people that know who you are the better. I believe in this and even if you get a negative review you can still turn things around and work on those aspects. Take every comment and review with a grain of salt sometime they are good sometimes bad as long as you learned something that's all that matters.

Building on the importance of the Internet, online reviews of a product or service from a company is like a free focus group. Companies are able to get real, honest feedback from the users of their product. While a review may be negative, it helps companies identify places where they can improve their weaknesses. The bad isn't always a bad thing, it gives the company a chance to compensate for the mistakes it made with prior customers.

Matt McCormick says, a bad review here and there not only helps you look more credible, it can also give you very valuable feedback on what you’re doing wrong. This is a good thing because it gives you a chance to go back to fix it before it gets out of hand, in most situations. Matt also say, it also gives you a chance to set the situation right with the customer. You can go back to that customer and say something like sorry and offer them something they might like. That customer might be willing to buy back from you.
