INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
I agree that when I company does not have any bad reviews, it seems a little fishy. I think that a few bad reviews do not make a company look less appealing, but instead make a company look realistic. No one is perfect, and the same is true for businesses. Not every customer will be satisfied 100 percent of the time. Instead of looking at a bad review as a negative aspect, businesses should use it is constructive criticism, and a way to build and improve in the future. At Raising Canes, we get our occasional customer complaints, but rather than taking them and feeling failure, I as a manager use them as a way to address obvious problems we had during that shift.

Really nice article. I love McCormick’s optimistic view of bad reviews. He’s right. How do you know what your business is doing wrong if no one is telling you? A: you figure it out on your own when it’s much too late to fix, or B: allow customers to give honest feedback on product or services, whether it’d be good or bad. Take the review and tweak your business to make it right. This is similar to a previous article, but I believe that accepting failures or bad news can really help you and your business much better if you let it.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
This is definitely a new spin on a bad review. Most people will tell you that in todays socially connected world everyone needs to write and reviews on their business. What most people dont think, however, is that negative reviews can be a postive. Most will tell you that negative reviews are simply a cost of doing business in a place where customers can voice an opinion. To see the positives of it is really a new thing, and not a bad idea.

I totally agree with this article. I can tell in the employees if the company has a place to leave reviews. I find that I get better customer service because the employees don't want their names in the review and put their job in danger.

INSTANT MBA: Hire People Who Are Unexpected And Unconventional
You cant teach someone to think outside the box. Theyre either born that way or not. This can be one of the biggest assests in an employee. You dont want to hire someone just like you. You have yourself to think that way! Having a person to think about the same situation but in a totally different way can help create solution you never dreamed possible. You will end up bringing out the best in each other.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
This article is so true. I know from my own experience that I never book a hotel online without looking at the reviews. Everyone's opinions and views are different so I agree with the article. I never skip a place just because someone had a complaint without checking what the complaint actually was. Sometimes what someone else thinks is important, may not be what I think is important. Another words, somebody may write a bad review simply because the hotels continental breakfast had few things to pick from. I am more so looking for the cleanliness of the rooms rather than what they offer to eat. Bad reviews can be beneficial to a company in knowing areas they can improve to promote more business.

I agree with the article when they say that a bad review can show you where your companies weakness are and from those you can change and grow to improve. Customer service should be something that your company is always working to improve.Employees, who take pride in their job, would work twice as hard to try and fix the problems as fast as possible in order to satisfy their customers. Good reviews are just has helpful because you know what the customer liked about your product or service. Take a reviews and learn from them.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
Bad Reviews can help a business out a lot. If a business gets a bad review then the business can react by fixing what the bad review was about. For example, if a company who sells vehicle gets bad reviews for the lack of knowledge the salesperson had then the company can train the sales person to have more knowledge of the vehicles. The companies can fix what bad reviews are about that way the customers are happy in the future.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
This article is spot on! I work for a company that relies on the surveys taken by the customers to improve upon their customer service. When I first started in retail I had no idea people ever even looked at the bottom of the receipt to take the survey, but nine times out of ten if they have an awesome experience or a really bad experience they are going to make sure a company hears about it. I love having a survey that praises us, however the ones who point out negative things give us something as a team to build on and improve upon so we can be that much better at what we do.

Matt McCormic gives good advice about bad reviews. I know that I personally, when researching reviews on the Internet, will not believe the credibility of a website if it does no have some bad reviews. Nothing is ever perfect so if there aren't any reviews that reflect imperfections, then I won't believe the reviews. Also, reviews can help a business better themselves because you can learn your weak points and fix them. Reviews are a great way to get critical information from the customer about what you need improvement on and the best part is it's free!

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
Word-of-mouth is one of the most powerful tools in advertising, and in all reality, people will tell others about a bad experience before they will tell about a good one. This article says that a few bad reviews here and there can provide the company with credibility and help the company improve, but i think this can only work if you have enough good reviews to make up for the few bad. If your reviews are only bad, this will hurt your company more than anything.

Most people think that bad reviews can damage your reputation. In fact bad reviews can boost your business. I did not ever think that would be possible until I read this article. Matt McCormick is certainly correct when he stated that he can make your company look legitimate and allow you great feedback. All business owners need great feedback in order to have a great company. Feedback allows people to let you know what they think you should and should not do with your business. Do not let feedback get you down, let it encourage you to make your company even better.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
When a company get a bad review it should never be over looked. Each review good or bad is very important. When given a bad review the company should address the issue. When addressing the issue make sure that the employee or managers are understanding the issue and know how to improve upon them. this will boost your business and help ensure that the issue never comes up again.

INSTANT MBA: Bad Reviews Can Boost Business In A Big Way
I find this article to be something I can really relate to and I think it is very accurate in the way bad reviews can effect you. I know that when I am looking at reviews of a product, I look for the bad reviews. If there are no bad reviews, I feel like that the company may have hired people to write good reviews for them and that makes me question credibility. A few bad reviews does not deter me from the product, but makes me feel confident that the good reviews are real.
