I feel like Mark is a genius when it comes to how to innovate. He came up with this idea to have teams stay up all night and just create whatever they want. That is something that is fun and creative people would love to do! You can innovate by so many ways and Mark definitely found a way for his employees to enjoy

This was a little confusing because he never really discussed how to generate innovation. I guess its by constantly changing things and being quick to change things. I don't know I didn't really like this video. I was actually looking forward to it because I have issues with innovation. I am an accounting major so being creative isn't one of my strong suits.

Mark explained a neat, little way that the people of Facebook do to foster innovation. It is more critical than ever that companies are always striving for innovation. In today's world, businesses must always be on the cutting edge of technology to stay competitive in the marketplace.

I agree. Companies that allow there managers just to simply take breaks makes for more successful employees. Managers are able to innovate better under less stressed conditions.

Generating innovation is difficult. Having a creative edge is important. You must be able to separate work and fun. Using fun for work and trying new random things may lead to great success. Innovation comes from within and no one can force it from you - not even yourself.

I think that this model may work for Facebook, but what about smaller companies? Not everyone has the money to pay people to stay up all night and be creative. I think what Mark described is a way for employees to build on their creative ideas, but not really how to foster those ideas in his team. Maybe if he had more than 30 seconds Mark would have elaborated a bit, but I don't think he really answered the question.

Mark Zuckerberg knows innovation is the key to success. So much so that he makes his employs at facebook change the code everyday. But some days he makes his workers stay all day to work on project that they want to work on. Trying new things out and innovating is what Mark Zuckerbergs about.

Mark Zuckerburg showed me that innovation can be interpreted in many ways. It is up to the company to decide what kind of innovation is best for them. Also, never quit experimenting with new ideas.

Being supportive of your staff and workers come in many flavors. Giving them the drive to create that innovation while working can be hard. Facebook has a good model of holding hack-a-hons to promote innovation within the company.
