INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure I agree with this article. They say the only failure is giving up and that is true. Whenever you try something and you fail, if you are truly passionate about it, you won't give up just because it didn't work the first time. You will keep searching for solutions. Something is bound to work eventually.

Perseverance is an important factor when reaching towards a goal. When striving to accomplish/achieve a goal, sometimes it is important that you fail or have a hard time reaching that goal. This will make a person appreciate obtaining that goal and it will also be a great lesson learned.

Instant MBA: ‘There is no such thing as Failure’ Failure is not an option is something that I used to tell myself all the time to get motivated to do a large project. This saying works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't work. In all honesty, everyone fails sometimes; it is what you do after you fail that determines how your projects will go. I personally learn from all my mistakes and try to do better next time. I try to remind myself that one person can't be good at every single thing that they do. People stumble and fall sometimes, but those who get back up and try again are the people who will always succeed in life.

"There is no such thing as failure"
With failure, you will always learn something new. Whether it's new techniques or a new way to view a problem. With success, you don't get to learn anything. You just have a finished product/service. This is very true with me. I have failed numerous test and assignments. After seeing my mistake and talking with professors, I was able to see how I was wrong and know for next time on how to get the passing grade. By failing, I was able to go back and learn my mistake so I wouldn't make it again. Thus really learning on how to do something through my error, rather than blindless memorization.

Instant MBA: There is no Such Thing as Failure
I agree with this article. The only way something (in the context of the article) can be considered a failure is if you give up. Failure is giving up on what you are trying to accomplish or settling for something that you truly know is not your best. When you don’t give your best effort, you are selling yourself short, and therefore failing at giving your greatest potential. If something does not go as planned, it is just a learning experience for what you may confront in the future.

It is my theory that failure is what you make of it. What is failure? My definition may be different from the next individual. The article was very inspiring because it encouraged me to keep pushing despite how many times I may fail. I don’t think I’m willing try as many times as Sandor did but, it’s worth the effort to try again. I the ability to preserve in any situation is in my DNA. Despite my struggles, I’ve been taught that there is a way out of no way. I’ve been through the storm and the rain and I could honestly say that without perseverance, faith, God, family, friends, and motivation, none of it would’ve been possible to achieve. The feeling that I get afterwards is priceless and the joy that the people around helped me is even more wonderful.

If we gave up every time something didn’t go our way we would seize to exist. If our parents didn’t force us to get up and try walking again as a child imagine where would be; exactly still on all fours crawling around until our mind forced us to get up and try walking. Look at the medical field, todays society has developed many cures and also procedures to help solve certain medical problems, if each physician completely gave up after failing or not achieving the goal they were looking for do you believe our country medical field would still be thriving at the top ? We must learn to accept failure for what it is but not accept it for what it will always be. The second we starting adapting and learning from failure will be the day we realize how successful we really are as people.

There is such a thing as failure, but there is also redemption in the fact that you can learn from previous errors or mistakes and capitalize on them. There is never failure and then shut down of a business, there is failure, then reformulating of an approach on a strategy, then relaunch. Its never single elimination. A business never scraps an idea after its maiden voyage. If that was the case we wouldn't go on cruises after the titanic sank or fly on airplanes when the first one crashed. Instead of giving up on piloting a boat or plane we instead made them better, safer, more reliable because we pushed through all the mess ups and got it right more times than wrong and kept improving.

LINK #7 INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
I understand what Sandor is saying in this link. Another way to look at it is
you can only fail when you stop trying. Those scientists who compound 606 did not
fail because they continued to try and produce the drug. If they would have given up
then that would have been the failure. In business if you are not unsuccessful in
anything then you have no way to improve it. When you “fail” at something, it allows
you to be better at what you do. Like in the previous link when Michael Jordan
“failed” to back his High School Varsity basketball team, he did not give up. He
worked harder and became very success with his career. So, you can only fail when
you decide to stop trying.

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
This article says, 'we have to persevere to achieve our goals, and no matter how many times we have to try as long as we learned from past mistakes'. This means that understanding that failure is an opportunity to gain life experience. We cannot expect success after the first attempt because there is always an opportunity to improve and to overcome failure is how we can attain success. If we are passionate about achieving specific goals, we should not be afraid of failure. We have to challenge ourselves to try until we succeed.

INSTANT MBA: There is no such thing as failure
I believe from each failure you have you learn something more from it. Failure is not the end of the road, but just one more thing you learn from to become successful. A failure is not a bad thing, but just another opportunity to get it right. I like the companies philosophy for failure. If the creator of the drug would have stopped after 605 times then there would have never been the drug and all those people would not have been cured.

Failure is hard to deal with. The societal norm is to go to college, get a job, and get married. Starting a business is risky and the thought of failure is unacceptable for most people because of the norms society has burdened us with. Failure, in some sort, is inevitable. How you deal with that failure is what separates successful people from the others.

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
This was a motivational article for any innovator and entrepreneur. Sometimes people think that when they don't get the outcome they were hoping far, that they need to start from scratch with a new idea. Actually somethings take practice and there's always mistakes when you do something for the first time. We shouldn't get discouraged though because we didn't fail, we just found out which route not to take.

Don't ever give up. In life their has been moments when you wanted to give up but you didn't because you know the reward is worth it. For instance I'm in college semester after semester I would love to give up. I push through because I know being a college graduate is going to be worth it. It's four year struggle is going to make for an easier or more successful life than if I didn't go to school. Focus and persevere because it's going to be worth it.

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
This article discusses the importance of never giving up and learning from failures. Richard Sandor mentions that his company only views failure as clinical experiments. Sandor uses the example of the drug, compound 606 which got its name from the creators 606 failures before getting it right. If he would have given up, the drug would not have been created. Sandor believes we should not view failures as the end of a project but rather learn from it and try again. I really like this view. If everyone gave up the first time they failed, we wouldn’t have a lot of the technology and advances we have today.
