INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
This is a very valid concept presented in an interesting way. As explained, clinical experiments cannot be viewed as failures. They are only just trials that lead you to reaching your goal. In business, you must learn to embrace your failures so a companies use of a slogan like, “There is no such thing as failure, we only view things as clinical experiments” is a really creative way to look at failures and help it lose some of the harshness. It’s like when you strike out at bat and your father pats you on the back and says, “You’ll get it next time”. You may fail, but getting back up and building upon the failure is what separates success from failure.

INSTANT MBA: There is no such thing as failure
The statement “There is no such thing as failure” speaks volumes to me. You can find many examples similar to that in the article where product development took many tries to get a formula that worked. I can also look at my own life experiences and know that if I took situations that did not work out as I wanted them to as failures I would have stopped trying and never achieved. When I started into the workforce twenty years ago, I had a review with one of my supervisors in which his feedback to me was that I didn’t have what was needed to be a supervisor. I took his feedback as an opportunity for me to grow and build on and now twenty years later I have been a supervisor and moved on to the technical field and now into the Lean Six Sigma role.

Instant MBA: There is no such thing as failure."
"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." That's what this article is articulating very well. I mean, Thomas Edison is another great example. He once said he didn't fail at making the lightbulb, he just found 1000 ways that didn't work. This is exactly how business must be done. If everyone gave up after one failure, there is no telling how many monumental achievements would not have happened. Everything from Harry Potter to the light bulb, to the American Constitution. All Great things take time, and effort, and nothing good comes easy.

I like that failure is looked at as an experiment in this article. In my opinion if haven't failed at something you aren't growing your knowledge as much. I have failed at a handful of things however I have learned through them all. I agree that you should never give up just because you failed this time.

INSTANT MBA: “There Is No Such Thing As Failure.” The window of possibilities between starting an endeavor and reaching its’ success or failure is incredibly vast. The road can be smooth and effortless, but it could also be rocky and frustrating. Our own attitude is what will make the difference. We need to realize that perseverance is our driving force. Even if we fail, we need to start over as many times as need be. Eventually, we will reach our goals. If our goals are important enough we will disregard any deadlines, and just keep working until we have accomplished them.

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
Nice, short article. I agree that failure is just another way of saying “try again”. Throughout our lives we may feel like we’ve failed on more than one attempt, but we have to remember that once we do get it right, it will be that much more rewarding.

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
What I got out of this article was very similar to what I got out of the previous artile. Failure only exists when you let it stop you. Many of the world's most successful people did not make it on the first try, but they tried and tried until they succeeded. The article uses the example of Compound 606, which was tried and failed 606 times before the formula was created. If the person who created that drug would've stopped after failing, we may have never found this cure for syphilis. This is just one example that goes to show you that success is not always easy.

INSTANT MBA: There is no such thing as failure
My uncle is extremely wealthy due to his life as an entrepreneur in business endeavors. My uncle had many, many businesses that failed before he finally got it right and became successful. Had he given up after his first or even second business had completely tanked, I do not believe he'd be where he is today. But he did not, and instead he kept trying, and transforming his business plans until he got it right. This article is a great way to reinforce the idea that just because you fail doesn't mean that success isn't within your reach, you just have to get back up and try again.

I agree with this link of the day. Failure should not mark the end of a project, it should just make you turn right instead of left when you come to the same roadblock again. Perfect your craft, and while doing so you will fail multiple times. If you haven't failed it isn't perfected.

INSTANT MBA: There is no such thing as failure
This is a good article. This is one lesson I teach my children daily. You do not have to be the best, but always give one hundred percent at trying. This type of behavior generally pays off. People who never give up get noticed just as well as those who get it right the first time. Perseverance is a strong indication of a good work ethic for employers as well as a good moral to possess. If I were an employer, I would much prefer to have someone who never gave up on getting things done right then I would care to have someone who rushes through their work just to get done.

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure I agree with the statement there’s no such thing as failure because it really isn’t unless you give up on something. Other than that, if you don’t do well at something or not make the best decisions then it’s all basically learning experience. That’s the way I look at things when I don’t accomplish and ask myself what I did wrong and how can I do better next time. While this may be an easy thing to grasp for most people, for others it may seem nearly impossible to think there is no such thing as failure when all their lives they have came short of accomplishing many goals.

This article talks about failure and not giving up. I think that this is a great thing to remember for people. It is very important to be determined and focused on what you are doing. It is also important to not give up. You should learn from your mistakes and grow and become a better employee.

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
I agree with this article, there is no such thing as failures. Failures just teach you what you did wrong, so that you know what not to do the next time. Perseverance is the key to success, so when things go wrong you must take them as a learning experience, and keep on trying. If every time something went wrong, we considered it a failure, we would get discouraged and nothing would be the way it is today. Barely any one succeeds on their first try. If all of the inventors in the world gave up after they "failed" the first time, technology wouldn't be what it is today. Failures could even be considered as the key to success!

INSTANT MBA: There Is No Such Thing As Failure
Everything takes time to achieve perfection. Attempting to make a drug 606 times is a prime example of life and the struggles we must go through to make it. The struggles and failures only make people stronger in the end. Companies using the philosophy of "no such thing as failure" are innovative and constructive business holders. When something does fail, it is looked as a bump in the road on the way to perfection. Sander went through this process and came out of all of it with a brilliant product.

"Leadership and inventive activity require the perspective of clinical trials as opposed to success or failure." This is the reason we have things like school. Its always to play through an idea in as many ways as you can before putting it into effect. Testing it through trial and error or having everyone who is involved sit down and discuss the value of whats being tested and the consequences of it makes the launch of whatever your deciding to do a lot easier and more manageable.
