No matter if your business involves a product or service, the recipe for the company's protocol should be given careful consideration. You should take take making up the mission and ingredients. If you rush into something, you are more likely to launch a premature business ridden with flaws. Think of your business as cooking. You experiment with different seasonings and are constantly adding little things to it. It may take a while, but you will eventually get it right where you want it. According to Ulukaya, sacrifice is one of the main ingredients that will help you come up with the perfect recipe for success.

There may be failed attempts, but never be discouraged and always look for improvements. Like the article says, success may mean sacrifice.

Instant MBA: The Recipe For Success Requires A Lot Of Experimentation I agree with this article because people should never rush into something because chances are the outcome won’t be what they want it to be. They should take their time and develop a relationship for it to be successful. Companies should defiantly work to perfect their company so that they don’t have any flaws with their product or service.

INSTANT MBA: The Recipe For Success Requires A Lot Of Experimentation.
No plan or idea is perfect from the beginning. Most of the time, the plan or idea never becomes perfect; however, it is important to understand that the best ideas and plans take time. They take time to get them right. Although it may take more time than we want, it is better to be safe than sorry. When we rush decisions or ideas, it is more likely these ideas do not make it very far. This is especially hard for me. I like instant answers and results, but who doesn't? I make quick decisions and choices before thinking them though. Sometimes these choices are good one, but sometimes had I just held off a better one would have come along. I personally need to remember this article and what it says. Take time to make decision and understand it will take some time to get it right.

INSTANT MBA: The Recipe For Success Requires A Lot Of Experimentation
Do not be satisfied with "almost right." Experimentation and changing the recipe is the name of the game. Companies sometimes prolong the release of a product because it is not quite right, this is sometimes a great business tactic. It is much better to lose a little money short-run to perfect a product than to release it early and give the public a bad presentation of it.

INSTANT MBA: The Recipe For Success Requires A Lot Of Experimentation What goes into your product or service should take time to figure out. Experimentation is essential when trying to perfect your business. Taking the time needed to find your "ingredients" and mission for your business will result in a polished and complete company. Putting in the necessary time and effort to start a business or launch a product requires a lot of sacrifice. It is important for a manager to accept this sacrifice and to have passion for their company or product. The creator of Chobani Yogurt spent 18 months figuring out the perfect recipe and spent 2 years away from his family while living at the plant. All of these sacrifices paid off but he couldn't have done it without such passion and endurance.

INSTANT MBA: The Recipe For Success Requires A Lot Of Experimentation
Taking the time to come up with a business plan and objectives it important. Like Ulukaya said, the more time taken the less likely the business with start premature with defects. The business's brand starts when it is launched. Once the business is launched it is harder to change the brand or objectives and strategies leading up to the brand. I tend to think of a business as a machine and I would not want to try the machine before it is put together fully. Sacrifices will have to be taken in order to start a new company.

This article makes a great comparison of designing a product and good food. It takes tweaking and remaking to get both to a state where it is acceptable to distribute to consumers. Wen designing a product, it is important to take it slow and make several different models and test them before putting them on the market. By taking your time with the product and making sure that all the kinks are worked out in the beginning and that when you release it, it is the best possible version of the product, you are setting yourself up for success. When rushing through the design process and putting out a product that isn't the best it can be, you're looking at future recalls, research and development costs, and possibly a failed product.

"The recipe for success requires a lot of experimentation"
As the quote states "Slow and steady wins the race." You never want to rush something like a product into a market. There may be kinks and bugs that you'll have to fix, and while you're spending time fixing them, you're competitors could have taken extra time in production and planning before introducing a similar product into the market. This will give them a better edge over you because their product worked when it entered the market when yours did not. Taking that extra time on a product before introducing it into the market could mean life of death for your company or at least that certain product.
