INSTANT MBA: This Is The Fastest Way You Can Learn Something
I think listening with a mixture of hands on activity, that is doing both at the same time, is the quickest way to learn.I find being able to apply what i am learning at the same time as I am learning it helps tremendously. The job I worked at before this one required a six week training period. I am not saying that this was the quickest but by the time the training was over, we knew what we had to do and we hit the floor running.

Most businesses do start with a different idea than what they started with. I started with the idea of running solely CHP classes by myself. Overtime, my business has evolved into running three different types of courses with multiple instructors who have used my products on both sides of the country. My material is now used all over, and is continuously being taught by more and more instructors. I never imagined that would be the case when I started, but I was passionate about my product, and that passion invoked reciprocating passion in other instructors from new england to california.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I think this article has attributes that I feel are accurate and then parts that I disagree with to a certain degree. I think that business models can change over time and I think you need to be passionate about whatever business you invest time in. However, I think that it is important to have a general idea that is somewhat sustainable, the idea can develop over time, but I believe it has to be a decent idea to begin with.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I like the main point of the article when it says Whatever you choose, you need to find something you're passionate about. The article also says find people that complement your skills. While this is true in some aspect you also need to partner with people who complement your weakness. For example a dreamer and a industrialist would complement each other very much, if they work well together.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
This article made me feel better about my career path. I know that I want to be a business owner. I would like to be a part of something that I built from the ground up. I would like to be my own boss. I am passionate about food so I think that I would like to own my own restaurant. But that's the farthest my idea has gone. Knowing that the idea isn't the most important thing in the business makes me feel better about my chances of success. They said its important to pick something your passionate about and to choose your partner wisely. I think that I've done a good job in both those areas so it makes me feel better about my chances of success!

Berenguer, I feel right with his theory. Find somebody that can complement your skills, but their should be love. All businesses evolve with time and it may not be the picture that you came in with at the beginning. It is up to the manager to embrace the new come up and make it great.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I agree that starting a business is a large undertaking. It should definitely be something that you enjoy because you'll be doing it for a while. "If you enjoy what you do, you'll never work a day in your life!"

In my own business which I am still waiting for it to fully pay off I’ve been working on for five years. It’s something I’ve always been interesting for years, fixing instruments. I’m this close to opening my own shop. I’ve just never had the time to fully commit. Instead I’ve kept it small and have just been learning. The key I’ve found more than anything else is this. Find ways to not spend money. If you spend more than you have on fancy equipment most of the time you’re just going to find out you could have done it for cheaper.

I found this article to be interesting. i always thought you had to have the perfect idea to get your business started. It is nice to know that you don't. This article relieved some of the stress I had about having to have the right idea. I think we often put a lot of pressure on ourselves to have everything right the very first time that we try something and when we don't we figure that we have failed and think it was a bad idea so we give up. When must "try try again" .

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
You must have a good staff to have a great business. If you have good people working for the business everything else can come together. You can always make your idea better and change it numerous times as long as you have the right kind of people working for your team.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
There is so much that goes into starting a business other than a perfect idea. Who is going to run the business, paperwork, employees, who will be your partner, who will supply you, and much more. Make sure you are passionate about the idea and you will do everything possible to make sure it is successful. As technology evolves, so should your business ideas and concepts. They need to maintain their competitive edge. Your first idea might not be the best, but if you never give up, you will eventually succeed ending with a "perfect idea".

This article explains that your idea for forming your business or company is important, but not set in stone. While it is important to start of with an idea, you do not want to focus on making that idea come to life. If that is your sole focus then you may miss something in the process of building your business or company. Your idea is an igniter, however over time your idea will adapt with the ever changing world of business. As long as you keep your business developing the idea will develop until both are exactly where you want them to be.

Instant MBA: The Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
In this link it talks about not focusing on having the best idea. The speaker talks about how the process is more important then the idea. When starting a business one should look into something they love as stated in this link. It would also be a good thing for your business to have other people of the same mind involved.

Any idea has room for improvement. You don't necessarily need the best idea to start out with because you can always work on it to make it better. You don't have to have everything figured out with all of your T's crossed and I's dotted. It's also important to be able to innovate and grow with the market. With that being said, some ideas or products will need to be changed in the future regardless, for example, the iPhone.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I agree and disagree with this article. The article starts off with saying that the idea is the least important part when starting a business and I do not agree. I am not saying to harp and brainstorm on new ideas for years but I think you need to have a vision of some sort put together before beginning. I do agree with the article in the sense that sometimes plans change. Sometimes the idea you start with has nothing to do with the business you end up running.
