INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
Great article. I think that if you believe that your business idea has to be perfect before you start, it will ultimately keep you from actually progressing further. With that in mind, I think you do need to have a general understanding of what your idea is. I also believe that it’s completely natural for things to change as you move forward because you start uncovering more and more details regarding the idea. Keep moving forward and you’ll eventually reach your goal.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business I agree with this article. I think an important trait to have while starting a business as the ability to adapt. Your beginning idea of your business may be what you want to do but if something comes along down road that would make the idea of your business not so good then you must be able to accept it and go a different direction with things. I also like what the article said about picking your partner. Just because you get along with someone doesn’t mean the two of you will be great partners because he or she may not have the business skills you’re looking for in a partner. Take time to find a partner that has the skills you feel are important even if the two of you aren’t the best of friends.

Alt link 32: INSTANT MBA: This Is The Fastest Way You Can Learn Something
Jamie Dimon is a pretty smart guy, to be a CEO at JP Morgan/Chase. However recent news has shown him to not have the best judgement when it comes to investments. That being said, his commencement speech to the Harvard Business school which was in '09 still holds water today. Learning is something we should do every day not just when we are in college.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
An idea is not the most important thing when starting a business, passion is. At the same time, your idea could make or break you depending on where you are located. Research of the area and what businesses are most profitable and what businesses have failed to succeed are crucial to your business. In reality, passion is what drives the business forward. You could have the best idea, but if you do not have the passion for it, the innovative ideas will not come and you will not enjoy what you are doing day-in and day-out.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
"A lot of people think the most important part of forming a business is the idea, but it's actually the least important." I understand the point but can’t say that I have really thought about it this way. “You don't have to have the best idea from the very beginning, because if you start with the wrong idea, you can modify this over time” the author actually makes a good point with this statement. I agree that you must be passionate about whatever it is that you choose because as the author said you will be spending a lot of time doing it and trying to build your business.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
When starting a business don't get too caught up in what you will be doing. Many businesses end up changing their purpose several times before they become successful. If you are good at something and are looking for a partner then look for a partner that complements your strengths. If both partners are good at the same thing and lack other things then they may not be successful. You should find a partner that will help you with your weakness while you help him or her with their weakness.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
This is a great article! I think that the author is spot on when he says that the idea is not the most important thing to focus on. The idea will take time to develop, and years and years to change and make fit to the market and what you are trying to accomplish. When starting a business or even managing a business it is much more important as to who you are working with than what the idea is. They are the ones who will help you develop the idea, fix failures, and make the business successful.

I didn't like this article. When it says it doesn't matter if your idea is good or not I strongly disagree. Your idea is everything. You do not have time to just start a random business and play lets figure it out during the game... I do agree with finding people to join your team according to their skills instead of personalities.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business Yes, I have seen this happen where someone starts there business with an idea and then later changes that idea into something more successful. My mother-in-law originally started her business with the idea of owning a flower boutique. As started she changed it into more of a wedding planning business as she was more into the planning and creation of that one time memory.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
This article is actually encouraging to those interested in starting a business. Although someone might not have the greatest idea, with the proper knowledge and experience, the idea can be molded into something great. An important part of having an idea is having the flexibility to change it if in fact it does fail. As mentioned in the previous link, you can't be scared of failure, but you must be willing to tweak your original and try again until you succeed.

Once you get that then you can start molding your business into what you really want it to be. Anyone can have an idea and try pursuing it, but if he/she isn’t passionate about it then nine times out of ten, it will not be successful.Take time to find a partner that has the skills you feel are important even if the two of you aren’t the best of friends.I think an important trait to have while starting a business as the ability to adapt. Having a passion for something comes from deep within, naturally.

Instant MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
People probably have lots of ideas when starting a business, but it doesn't mean they will all work if any. The key is sticking with it and finding what works for your business. With such a large population today, things change and evolve constantly anyway. It's likely that what worked years ago, won't work today. The key is setting goals and doing your level best to accomplish those goals to make your business successful.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business I agree witht the article that an idea is not the best for starting a business. Having just an idea is a starting point, But a true starting point is a calculated strategic plan. With the strategic plan you set your ideas into action that can become something and grow. An idea is great but it is not known if it will succeed in the competitive market.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
Starting a business is a huge stressor, if you are willing to actually take the risk. One of the least important things to a prospective business owner is the idea they are trying to build a business with. According to Berenguer, the creator of a new company should realize that the idea that starts the business rarely is the idea that makes the business successful. What is more important is to find partners who complement the skills and gifts you have. That way, the business is well-rounded, and decisions are not rubber-stamped while not being critiqued.

A perfect idea is not the most essential thing when starting a business. An idea becomes perfect over time. You will have failure when trying to come up with the perfect idea.
