Instant MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business When starting a business the most important thing is if the individual is passionate about it. Anyone can have an idea and try pursuing it, but if he/she isn’t passionate about it then nine times out of ten, it will not be successful. Having a passion for something comes from deep within, naturally. Knowing that you love to do something is not rocket science. It’s either you love to do it or you don’t. Partnering up is another important aspect of a business. As a business owner, knowing who to partner up with is critical because as part owner, everything is on the line. And you want to know every little detail about your partner. He/She should complement your skills. Basically picking up where you lack, and being able to make strenuous decisions without having to think about it twice. The idea of the business will eventually form, and be changed more times than anyone could count. But the best part is that it’s okay because you have a solid foundation to keep changing the idea.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I never really thought about the topic of this article. I have always believed that the idea was key for a business to succeed. However, I agree that as long as we make adjustments, the best idea is not necessarily an element that determines whether or not a business will thrive. An entrepreneur just needs to be passionate about the venture, and changes can be made along the way to adapt to the environment. Also, when partnering with somebody, I am reluctant to choose someone who is a family member or a good friend because it would be hard to keep business matters separate from the personal ones. As a result of this, I believe it is a good idea to evaluate the possibility of choosing a partner whom we don't have a personal relationship with, so we can deal with company matters in a professional way.

It is always important when starting a business to be passionate about what you are trying to sell of produce. You may think that something is a good idea but if you don't know anything about it or are not passionate about it, then you will have a harder time trying to sell it or produce it. When you start a business, it will take up a lot of time and energy, you want to make sure that you are dedicated to what you are doing and have a team of people who are just as dedicated to your business.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I agree with what this article is saying. I always say if you don't have the passion for something don't pursue it, and I stand by that 100%. Anybody can come up with an idea for a potential business, but as an entrepreneur you should make sure that what you are planning on doing is something you will actually love. You also want to make sure that you bring on people who also have a passion for the type of business you are starting. Just because this person is a friend and they need a job doesn't mean that person will make a good partner. You must make sure that the passion and dedication is there, and that this person will be able to complement your strengths and weaknesses. Often times people start off with an idea and later in the future that idea evolves into something greater than before, not because the idea didn't work, but because that had a idea or a vision that they were passionate about and they dedicated their time to actually worked on it to make it better.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
When starting a business, it's not about having the best idea, it's about having the right one. You could have the best idea ever, but if it isn't about something you are passionate about, then it won't be a very successful product. You must love what you do and what you are working for. And you must also surround yourself with people that have the same passion as you. Working for something you love is much easier than for something you could care less about.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
It's really not about having the perfect idea, having a general idea is the best way to go. When you start a business you need a good plan to get you started. This way throughout the course of the business, you will be able to formulate the perfect idea. Making sure you have a good foundation is the road you need to travel before making the biggest decision for the company.

Instant MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I strongly agree with this article. It is not necessarily important that you start with a perfect idea when starting a new business. You must ask the correct questions and adapt as you go. I also feel that selecting the correct partner is very important. You want a partner that will not necessarily just agree with you all the time, but will compliment your strengths. You want a partner that will challenge you and that their strengths will support your areas of weakness.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I certainly agree when he said that you need to partner with people who have the same skills as you and not someone you're friends with. Partnering with the wrong people could put an end to your idea before it's really even begun. Also, you'll obviously have an idea of what you want to do and become but that will certainly change overtime, as does everything it seems like. The idea that you have in the beginning is really just a building block that you will continuously add to once you have a better understanding of what you want to become.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I agree that it is more important to create a business that you are deeply passionate about, opposed to one that is "perfect." Although your idea may be perfect, if you do not feel strongly about it, then it will likely not succeed. But rather if you start a business that still has some kinks to be worked out, that you are completely dedicated to, your chance of success is much higher. You will be able to mold your imperfect idea over time, through experience and trial and error. On the other hand you can not force yourself to have a long term dedication and strive for success for an idea that you do not have feelings for.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
The most important thing when starting a business is not having a perfect idea it is about getting the perfect people to work for you with great skills that can add to your business. Once you get that then you can start molding your business into what you really want it to be. Building a brand takes time, success does not come overnight and if it does sometimes it does not last long. So having the right people with the right motives for your business can help you with a long term business.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business This is definitely some solid advice. Everyone always talks about having “million dollar ideas” that could make them rich. It is obviously not that simple. Anytime someone wants to get into the market for a product, there are hurdles that they haven’t even encountered yet but can build from with time. I think the main point this article is trying to make is that a person has to have passion for their product if they want to succeed. If they have a million dollar idea that ends up being a thousand dollar idea, they must use their passion for the products success to fuel the innovation it needs.

INSTANT MBA: A Perfect Idea Is Not The Most Important Thing When Starting A Business
I enjoy the point of view of the author of this article. He basically states you don't have to have it all figured out before you being a business. You can always make modifications to make your original idea better. I think that some entrepreneurs can get to fixated on their idea they have tunnel vision and sound out tweaks that will make their idea even more successful. It is also important in business to be able to adapt to the environment and market changes. Think about the companies opened their doors 15 years ago, if they did not adjust to all of the technology now and the internet they would most likely not be in business.
