There are many things in life we do not really think about until a near death experience or someone else dies. These experiences make us open our eyes to what our purpose is in life, and how well we are fulfilling it. In the end, the little material things in life that we make such a big deal about really don't amount to anything. We should take care of what we need too, eliminate the bitterness in our relationships, and this will result in a happy life.

Life is to short. This hits home for me because i lost a friend from high school the past week. And seeing this really does make me think about what is important in life. What would you do more of if you could. In business this translates in to have a positive reaction to things that can be turned negative. Always look for the good in a situation.

In this video, the speaker talks about the three things he learned while on the path to dying in a plane crash. He miraculously lived through the crash, giving him the chance to live life to the fullest. During the moments before the crash, he learned that he never wanted to postpone anything in life, never wanted to live with negative energy again, and also that being an amazing dad was all life meant to him. He now lives life in a way like it's his last. I aspire to live in such a way that I would have zero regrets if I passed away.

It is very important to not take life for granted. No one knows how much time they have here on earth. These three lessons that Ric learned could benefit anyone in leading a happier life. He said we choose to be happy. I could not agree more with this statement because our life is what we make it. Though there are things out of our control and things do not always turn out as planned, we can choose what to take away from situations and choose to be positive or negative. It's the little things in life like spending time with those we love that make life so special.

It really shouldnt take a catastrophic event for a man to realize how imporatnt his children are. I am glad that he did realize it but it should take such a drastic event. People shouldnt have children if they dont intend to be good parents. Every child deserves good, loving, and caring parents to take care of them. But i guess its good that he was able to get his priorities straight, even if it took almost dying.

Because so many of us have not gone through a traumatic experience like the one the speaker discussed in this video, it's very hard to live life the way he says we should. It is the experiences in life that change people and allow them to learn from the past. I really liked the question he asked about if that would happen to us what would we change? That question alone is the question we should all ask ourselves.

Am I the only person who wants to know how this video is "business" or "management" related? Not that I'm complaining. But anyway. He really goes on to discuss the importance of life views. When he thought he was going to die, he thought of the love for his family. Nothing else mattered. Not work, not deadlines, not drama, not negative comments, nothing. Only the people he loved. It's important to take from this not to hold onto negativity or be negative, fighting isn't worth it, and being right all the times doesn't hold any value in the future.

Time should be important to everyone. Everyone should make the most of the time that they have. This is the same with managers; they should take each day and make the most of it. The way you treat someone or the way you handle situations should always be the best. If you have any type of issues that you know of, or have been made aware of, you should fix them know before it is too late; don’t put them off any longer. The more you put things off, the worse they can become. An example would be treating employees poorly without any signs of remorse. Eventually, they will grow tired of your poor treatment and leave. When that happens, the damage is done. The team you had that could have worked so efficiently is gone. Fix what is broken and keep an eye on what could break.

Most people change during a traumatic experience and realize to accept life as something that can be taken away at any moment. His point were great and hopefully most people won't have to face a near death experience to want to change and make a difference. People take life for granted easily and sometimes we need to be reminded of what a great treasurer it is.

This was a very good video, that truly reminds us how short out lifetime really is, sometime we focus on things that are really not that important and blow it out of proportion. So before we have to experience a traumatic event to make us come to our senses. he explains why we should begin to live life to the fullest. I would definitely share this video with others.

Traumatic events can change one's overall outlook on life forever. It's as if you take a peek into the future then back to reality. If that traumatic event turned for the worse, how would have wanted to things and live your life? You realize that negative energy you fed or caused wasn't worth it in the end. So, now you leave that behind. Once I went on my first deployment and returned home injured, that changed a lot in my life. I got rid of negative people from my life, I did things I really wanted to do, like travel more, started boxing, started working out more, joined adult female basketball and volleyball teams. I did a lot of things. I only did it because I realized I wasn't living my life to the fullest. That event made me realize that.

This video brings things into perspective. We hear it all the time how traumatic events change people but always think it won’t happen to us. If I were in that plane there would certainly be people I would regret not talking to or settling everything with. This video is definitely a good change of pace form the other ones and a good reminder of how precious life is.

This by fair is my favorite video we have watched so far. I have heard it a thousand times, life is too short to live with regrets. In regards to business, we strive to be successful. But, what exactly is the definition of success - is it money? fame? To me, the idea of success is happiness; to know that I pushed myself to do whatever I wanted and never let anything get in my way. After all, everything can change in an instant and you may not have the chance to try something new or experience something you wanted to. Live every day completely out to its fullest and do not let fear of failing stop you from trying something. A very good friend of mine says that she does not have a single regret, because at one time, it was exactly what she wanted. I try to live life without regrets because it can all be gone in an instant.

Life changes in an instant when you have to go through something like that. You suddenly realize what is really important and if you survive, how you're going to live life from then on. I've personally never experienced a close call type of situation where my life was at stake, and I hope never have to, but I that I would walk away with more understanding of the meaning of life. We should all live every day to the fullest. I enjoyed this video. I'm curious to look up more about that plane crash.
