This was a very interesting video. He was in a plane that was crashing, and while the plane was going down, he thought about a few things. He thought about the friends that he needed to get in touch with. He also thought about the wasted times and things that didn't matter. He decided to eliminate negative things out of his life. Last he realized that he only wanted one thing. He wanted to see his kids grow up. He was able to use his experience to change his perspective on life. Being so close to death is a scary way to get your priorities straight. It is good that he had a second chance to change his life, but its better if people can learn from his experience, and change their lives for the better. I try to eliminate negativity out of my life all the time. It's not worth it to sweat the petty stuff, and I try not to do that as often as I can.

What we learn when we have a near death experience. What a near death experience is too us. I have been through many instances where I was notified after that I almost die. I never thought so. I had one recently, were I saw myself never becoming what I wanted to be in this world. Nobody had too tell me what the experience was. The other thing you will realized is what is important specifically too you. just you, no one else.

I really enjoyed this video; it was really refreshing. This video was refreshing because it didn't talk about business. Furthermore the video talked about life. It talked about happiness. I think those are things we put on the back burner. Moreover I think that happiness is one of the most important aspect of life and we all should learn to enjoy life more.

Ric brought up a few interesting points while reliving his near death experience. He said that during the time before the crash that he realized some important things. One was that he didn't want to put anything he wanted to do in life to the side.. Anytime you want to partake in an activity you should because you never know what circumstances may not allow you to achieve that goal. One of his other thoughts really stuck with me. He just wanted to see his kids grow up. If you have children or any other family, you should cherish the times you have together and take full advantage of them. Life is very precious so we should live it to fullest so that we do no have any regrets when death does arrive.

this video is a little scary since i do fly alot through out the year. I have thought oh my i hope this plane arrives safe. I really try to not to think about those kind of things but you really don't know what could happen. Your life can change in a second. I remember hearing about this landing in the Hudson river. This video really showed me how all your decisions in your life make them good ones because you never know what could happen.

By far the best video I have watched so far. When people are faced with traumatic experiences they tend to think of what they could have done differently in their life to that point. The purpose of this video in my opinion is to challenge people to make changes now before they are faced with a life or death situation. I, myself, should take this advice and start making positive changes in my life before it is to late. Tomorrow is not promised, so seize the day and make it what you want.

this is a very powerful video, i totally agree with his idea of taking care of things immediately, leaving nothing up to chance. i literally applied this right after watching the video, i made sure i took care of an issue immediately in stead of letting it sit.

This video kept my full attention the whole time. I could never imagine being in plane which is about to crash. It's amazing that this man can go in front of so many people and speak about such a traumatic experience. Very few people go through life threatening situations, but we should all live as though we have. At any point in time, everything can end. We should all Iive with no negative energy, we should strive to spend as much time as possible with family and friends, and we should all remember to be a good person and understand what is important and what is not.

So far this is my favorite video in this project. I love how he said "I realized how much time I wasted with people that matter on things that don't matter". To me this is the biggest struggle I have with my friendships and family. If something hurts my feelings I am very hard to let go of it. I like that he talked about how he realized the only thing he wanted was to be a good father. That was such a simplistic view and realization. The take away I had is that we should look at things in big picture views and focus less on the small things that get us down.

I agree with this video. Life is to short. Stay away from all the negative things in life and focus on the positive. Do everything you want to do in life and don't say no. Develop a bond with your family and friends that will last a life time. You will have no regrets and can say you lived your life to the fullest.

Well, this video was very emotion filled for me. He story was very inspiring and a little bitter sweet, but it also filled me with fear and nervousness because I will be flying to China in a little over two weeks. I do get comfort from two things. One from the fact that he said when he thought he only had seconds left to live, that death is not scary only sad. The second, is that he realized everything that was truly important to him and the things that he wanted to do. If And God willing I make it to China, I will feel like I can then say I did something that I never thought I would be able to do in my life. I will experience so many cool things there that are on my bucket list and I can check off. It will also give me time to reflect about my life at home. Even though this video made me more nervous to fly, I will be so happy when I make it back home.

TITLE - Ric Elias: 3 things I learned while my plane crashed The video was all about perspective and realizing what really matters in life. Everyone I think has a couple of things that they care about, this video just reminded me to focus on the now and give every opportunity I have my all. Very motivational video and very real.

Wow! This video has trulyy touched me. There have been plenty of videos that have related to my life in a number of ways but this particular one relaates to my spiritual life specifially. I have been struggling wtih mending my relationship with Christ for the last few weeks and its amazing how he uses peopole, events, and even class assignments to guide us back to HIm. While watching this video the only thing that was on my mind is that if I died today where would my soul go. He mentioned that we put things off because we believe we have all the time in the world to get it done but in actuality life can change in an instant and we can be removed from this Earth. I really enjoyed this video!!

There's a country song "Live like you were dying" and just like the title implies it's a song about the things you would do differently if you knew you didn't have much time left or you had a near death experience and lived through it. Just like this guy talks about things he does differently now because of his experience, most of us don't get this chance. And although it is easy to say everyone should live like this, like you were dying, and as much as I would like to, I think that you do not get the full experience of this feeling of purpose unless you have lived through one of these extreme situations. But I do think it is a good motto to apply to your daily life, like he said, life changes in an instant don't postpone things in life. Time you wasted with things that didn't matter with people that do matter.

This story is wild! Life is too short. I felt his life changing experience when he said the pilot said. Brace For Impact. Last year I survived a boat accident with my girlfriend and father. We all should have died but walked away with just a couple of bruises.
