Wow! I had forgotten how brilliant this scene is. Great motivation. I am unable to put into words how this made me feel watching it. It actually brought tears to my eyes, because I feel like I had forgotten how to fight for every inch in life, for every moment, every opportunity... because in life you start having things taken away. Because that is life. Everything about this can be put into a business perspective and personal perspective. I especially liked the statement "We can win as a team, or lose as individuals".

I love this video! It is so motivating for everyone no matter what situation they are in. It is an encouragement for people to work as a team to reach the end goal. I have seen this movie once, but Al Pacino's speech never gets old.

I can't count how many times I have heard this speech. It is quite possibly the best motivational speech there is. And it can be used for any aspects of life.

I really loved this speech! I’ve never seen this movie but it really got me motivated. Even fighting for something that feels so small can make a big difference in the long run. I think all of us as students can relate to this with grades. There’s only one point separating a final grade from a B and an A but the students who really want that A will fight to the end for that one extra point.

This is my favorite video that we have had to watch this semester. Such a great motivational speaker and you can tell that it is not rehearsed, but a speech from the heart from a truly great speaker. It is important whether you are competing in sports, life, or business, that you give it your all and that you are the one who pushes the extra mile. Like Al Pacino said, the one who gives up is the one who dies as an individual. The ones who give it the extra inch is the team who wins. You might as well go out there and give it all your might!

I absolutely agree with this video. "Life's about inches." It really is. I can be in the lowest of the low in what seems like there's no other options or paths and yet each obstacle helps me make a step in the right direction. "The inches we need are everywhere around us," right again. The opportunities we seek could be there the next step we take, there's no way of knowing until you do. “In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing." - Theodore Roosevelt. I can relate this with my own life because when I failed at getting a summer internship, it allowed me to take summer classes and be in the Grad program today. I like inspirational videos like this because as corny as they can be sometimes they always touch on an important part of life many of us forget. I would probably share this.

This video clip makes me want to watch the movie. I took several things away from it. When he mentions that every inch and second is important, it makes me think of the Olympics going on right now, and how people loose by a tenth of a second. Every little moment does count and even a tenth of a second or an inch can make a huge difference. I also thought this video was a great lesson in endurance and teamwork. Al Pacino said they could succeed together or fail as individuals. This is a great analogy for the business world and again stresses how important it is to work in teams and be able to collaborate. People also need to have the stamina to keep going and not give up on what they are working towards. If they are able to go that extra mile, or even just a few more inches, it can make a difference.

This wasn't my favorite video but it was a good motivational speech. It's important for a team to work together and have one goal. I think every team, football to a business should have meetings like this to keep everyone's eye on the main goal.

Inches weather that is small or large it matters. In relation to this video you have to take life step by step, inch by inch. I know for me i need to realize this to take life slowly and enjoy it. Another aspect of this video is the team you can succeed if you move together and are on the same page. Which is the best way a team to relate to one another.

I've never seen this movie, but the concept behind what he is saying is very true to everyone in the world. When we move forward in our lives, we sometimes think that it has to be large steps at a time, when in reality, it is the little steps that count the most. In businesses, we can chase our goals and dreams one product at a time, one market at a time. I feel his main point is to live life to the absolute fullest and leave all regrets behind you. If we can live our lives to the fullest, and take life as it comes, we can overcome any obstacles, even if it is only little steps at a time. Your moment to change the world could happen at any moment.

I have never seen this movie, but I definitely want to now. Inch by inch is a very good phrase to live by. Setting big goals can seem unattainable. Living life looking at the huge goals set can be discouraging at times. We might think that we will never achieve our goals because they are so far out of reach. If we take things one day at a time, living inch by inch, it'll seem less overwhelming. We should set small subgoals in order to reach the big goals. We can rejoice after each little goal is obtained. Then, one glorious day we will win the game.

I really enjoyed this video and thought that it was really motivating. I have to say that I agree with what Al Pacino was saying about the game of life. That every single second is crucial. One second too late can make or break a situation. For example, being just one second late to apply for a job could cause you from not getting the job. Same goes if you are just that one second early. A second can change everything in an instant.

I have never seen this movie, but this speech is awesome! I am going to rent this movie as soon as possible. This speech about moving from inch to inch can apply to everything in life, not just sports. Al Pacino was the perfect person for this part. He exicuted the speech perfectly.

I enjoyed the speech but it wasn't the best I've heard. I don't really care for his comparison of dying for inches in football. I know that mentality helps motivate people but I mean honestly who wants to die in a football game. The older you get the more life does take away from you and unfortunately it gets harder to hold on. So enjoy the people who love you the most and never take life for granted because one you get up in age, you will be filled with regret if you didn't before.

Can we PLEASE note how young all these actors look! Dennis Quaid...mmm... Anyway. It's a very inspiring speech on teamwork. One person may be willing to go that extra inch to succeed, but in a team it's important that every member can exceed his limit and go that extra mile, or inch. An inch can be the difference between winning or losing a game.
