The first is engage with your employees, this allows them to feel needed and appreciated. The next two are to educate and encourage employees to be successful.A great leader brings enthusiasm which creates a great environment to work in. An interview shouldn't only be view as the time for the potential employee to show that they are competent enough to work for you and that they will be a great asset to the company, but it is also the time for you to show them that you are looking forward to having this person work for you and that you too are as excited as they are about this opportunity.

INSTANT MBA: There Are 4 Big Ways To Effect Change In Your Company
I agree with the articles 4 E's. Using the 4 E's can diffidently help promote a positive change in your business. the 4 E's are engage, educate, encourage, and enforce . Each one of these ideas are very important to a business and a business undergoing change in their structure.

INSTANT MBA: RIM Founder Explains What Makes Tech Companies Great
The people who are employed by a business are its lifeline. Without good people working for a business owner, customers will not want to do business with said company. If employees, whether prospective or current, see a manager or the owner as being excited and enthusiastic about his career and business, this excitement will rub off on the current employees, and prospective employees will want to work for a boss like that. On the other hand, if these same people see a manager or owner that is pessimistic or aloof, the level of energy on the workforce will be the same as the executive’s. It’s like a downward-spiral version of the game “follow the leader.”

It does not matter what kind of business you have. A good manager can manage any type of business. You just have to have great employees who have the same vision as you.

INSTANT MBA: There Are 4 Big Ways To Effect Change In Your Company
Engage, Educate, Encourage, and Enforce. These words are an excellent map to know what should be done in work situations. You engage your employees, which is huge. Educate them on what they should do so they're not expected to just perform with no training. Encouragement should probably be the biggest tool used besides communication. Letting employees know what they're doing right before coming down on what they are doing wrong usually enforces the point without having to be forceful.

INSTANT MBA: RIM Founder Explains What Makes Tech Companies Great
I agree with this article 100%. No company is different when it comes to hiring people who are enthusiastic about the company or the type of work that has to be done. Employees that are passionate about their work and that should show when talking to customers, like the article said happy employees equal happy customers. That is a very true statement and i know from experience. Going to work and having a bad attitude with potential customers not only reflects on commission(if there is any) it also gives that business a bad reputation

INSTANT MBA: RIM Founder Explains What Makes Tech Companies Great
I believe this article makes a very valid point about building a great company. Employees respond accordingly to management's attitude whether good or bad. It is important that all companies stress an enthusiastic, encouraging corporate culture which will permeate through to customers. It is also highly important to implement plans to anticipate the customer needs and act to meet those needs.

I must say the following quote really summed up the article "Greatness also requires customer-based marketing that meets and anticipates customers' needs. And, a technology company must be focused on providing quality products and real value to its customers." It all begins and ends with the people you hire to be representatives of your company. Hire quality people you will get the quality results

All companies need to be finding the best ways to meet their customers' demands. People really respond when a company is proactive. When they find a way to anticipate what the consumer wants, they are in a great position. Employees are attracted to organizations like this.

I think this article is right target and I also think this is evident if you look at most of the major tech companies. As a hiring manager or employer if you greet a prospective employee with enthusiasm, it will become contagious will be a way of life in the work place. This will help keep energy levels high and keep individuals engaged. When an employee is engaged and has a high energy level they will be more creative and productive. As article states, it is also important to start with customer-based marketing that meets and anticipate customer needs.

"What makes tech companies great is not all that different from what makes any company great? It starts with people.” This comment can transcend almost any business. I also agree with were it helps if the manager is ambitious as well. I’ve taken many a job with just the point of getting a paycheck, but at one point in only working so hard. It helps to have a job a care about and one I feel can help me achieve my goals as well.

INSTANT MBA: RIM Founder Explains What Makes Tech Companies Great
Employees must have passion for their jobs. If passion is involved in their job they will be a great leader. Leaders must have a good attitude about their job so everyone else will feel the same energy. People will work harder when the leader is always happy about being at work to help everyone else. It is a train reaction that people will feed off of.

This article makes a lot of sense in that what makes a company great is very similar to what makes other businesses great. A great company will hire on people who are motivated and excited to work for them. A company can get these types of people by being excited and motived themselves as recruiters and employees. If a person applying for a job sees that everyone at that company is motivated and excited to work their then that person applying will more than likely feel the same and make for a good hire.

INSTANT MBA: RIM Founder Explains What Makes Tech Companies Great
Every company should strive to have passionate employees that are dedicated to their work. Employees that love what they do are more likely to produce better products then their competitors. By having an optimistic attitude towards employees and perspective employees, it makes them happy to work for them. With happy employees, that attitude reflects onto the consumer. A customer that is happy and finds the company to have a friendly environment is more likely to come back and tell their friends. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising.

INSTANT MBA: RIM Founder Explains What Makes Tech Companies Great
This link talks about showing your employees and future employees that you are excited about your company. This link goes back to another I read one day about being a effective leader. You must show your employees that they should be happy about working for you. In result, that will lead to a better customer service. Customers like to see a person happy about their work area because it shows that they will take their job seriously. When being at work a employee should always show how enthused they are to work in your company but it all starts with the boss.
