INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
I absolutely agree with this article. This is an approach that I've taken in my jobs and it's certainly done more good than bad. When I start something I always go into full speed; I take charge even if I don't need to and the result is always positive and it even makes some of the other employees pick up their pace a little as well.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
Each day when I arrive at work, I go into the shift with the expectations of running it to my greatest capacity. I strive to run each shift as if our CEO is in the building watching us work. By doing this, it gives myself and my employees a greater sense of purpose. If you feel like you are making a difference, you will. By setting great expectations, you will get great results. I also encourage my employees to be leaders in the restaurant no matter their title, because if everyone steps up to the top, you are much more likely to succeed.

INSTANT MBA: Make Your "We" Larger Than Your "Them"
I agree with the concept of "WE" being stronger than "THEM". Teamwork will only allow your employees to all be on the same page and more effective while at work. Cohesiveness is important for a business to be strong and successful. It allows the company to run smoothly and doesn't allow anyone to deviate from the strong business plan.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
While I do agree with some of the points in this article, I don't agree with all. It is a good idea to think like a boss as far as work performance goes I guess, but allowing someone the power to make too strong of decisions without your approval can be disastrous. Some people tend to let things go to their head and the next thing you know they think they are running the show. You have to be careful in business who you allow to have power in decision making.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
I’m not sure if I like this article. Maybe it’s titled wrong. I think it should be titled: “Treat the company like it’s your own” or something to that nature. Anyway, acting like the boss can be extremely tricky. For one, you don’t get paid the same as the boss. Two, people don’t have to listen to you. Three, why even put that burden on yourself? I mean, I get it, but whoever “acts” like the boss will put a huge target on their backs and could potentially face huge backlash from fellow colleagues.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
In anything you do you don't have to be in charge or the boss to get noticed. People who take the initiative, work hard, care about everything they do, can be seen a great role model and leader. It's important to take pride in what you do and do it to the best of your ability, offer extra help and take on extra projects even if you are not the boss. This shows whoever you are reporting to that you are able and willing to go above and beyond and will make you a prime candidate for a promotion.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
I agree with the article about how you should act like your own boss. If things are starting to go bad then you shouldn't wait until your boss tells you what to do. If you know what to do, then take action and go above and beyond to so something before being asked. If you see a small problem and know how to fix it then don't wait for you boss to do it, you should do it. Sometimes doing whatever it takes to succeed is better than listening to your boss.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
The article gives great advice on being the boss. You don't have to actually be a boss to start being a boss. You are your own boss you start looking at your work that way. "Be the CEO of your own work" is a great way to motivate people to higher performance and it gets them thinking on a higher level- which increases their capability.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
"'Be the CEO of everything you do.' ", that is such a powerful statement and great advice. If you have the CEO perspective in everything you do you will be exuding confidence and attract the right people to be around you. It is a way of life that will create success for you and the company you work for.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
Taking charge of everything I am involved in is how I was raised. Now that I am in a professional setting, I have the ability to be “the CEO” of all projects I work on. This allows me the power to change things that are inefficient, as well as propose changes to inefficiencies that clients may have. When I come to a meeting with clients’ questions already answered, because I was able to change the inefficiencies on my end, they are grateful and enthusiastic about proposed changes.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
In order to be a leader, all you really need is followers. You don't need a title, a position, or a high salary to lead people. As the previous article mentioned, all you really need is dissatisfaction, and a motive to stand up and make a change. Once you have followers, the title, position, and better pay will find you.

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One
Great article whatever you do in life take great pride in. I love this quote "Our saying also sets a tone for expectations. No matter how small the task or role, approaching it with the mindset of a CEO drives great work and awesome results. After all, would the CEO let inefficiencies and missed objectives go unnoticed? When everyone considers themselves a business leader, they realize their role can result in a better company, better brand, better office environment" This is so true it rubs off on the whole team

INSTANT MBA: You Don't Have To Be The Boss To Start Acting Like One This has always been my motto. When I am at work I always keep in mind that I will run this business as if it were my own. That means I will treat the customers they way that I want to be treated and also run the station as if it were mine. This has help me so much that I have been promoted three times and they value my hard work and dedication. Think like a CEO and maybe you can become one.

Dare to be a leader. You do not have to be the leader to act like one. Let your boss see that you have the potential on being a leader. This could lead to promotions and success within the company. Take charge and let your manager know that you know what you are doing and how to conduct your self.

If every employee had the mindset that they were the boss, they would take more charge and initiative in what they do. They would feel as if they have more responsibility and power in doing what they’re supposed to do. I agree with the statement “Be the CEO of everything you do” because it is also telling them to everything to the best of their ability.
