It's important to leaders to be productive, fanatic, and creative. Productivity allows them to make the best use of their time. Being a fanatic shows that they care about what they're doing. And being creative allows for innovation and the confidence of trying new things. When there is a good idea, don't waste time and execute!

The video states that the companies they reviewed that did very well had a better return on their luck. The speaker went on to explain that those companies prepared for those big events, and when they saw them happen, jumped on them. It almost sounds like in simpler terms, that they prepared for an opportunity in the future, instead of putting all their eggs in one basket. The speaker also states that instead of just gambling on opportunities, they would test out ideas and when they worked invest heavily in them.

I find this video interesting because it is something that I have not heard before. I have heard that leaders are great because they surround themselves with great people or take great advice. This video is saying that leaders are great because they know how to prepare. When I thought more about this, it is so true! In order to be a great leader, or even just a good one, you have to be prepared for whatever comes at you. This means being prepared for good luck and bad luck, but more importantly, being prepared for opportunities. Great leaders know how to spot opportunities and they must be prepared to take it whenever it comes because it may not come again.

This is very true. It's almost like you have to make your own luck. Or like he said just preparing for the bad times is good. If you are prepared for the bad times, then your lucky. If you do not then you are unlucky. And will most likely suffer bad things happening more often.

This was an interesting video. Too often people assume anyone more successful than themselves was lucky. However, this line of thinking will not get you anywhere. Taking what you get and making the most out of it is important. As the speakers stated, great leaders are the ones that get the highest return on their luck. Preparing for tough times and being able to take advantage of opportunities is vital fur success.

Great leaders need to prepare for difficult times and when opportunities come it is important to take advantage of them. Leaders need to know how to prepare for the bad because when they do they are lucky and are able to recover.

I don't use the word luck, situations happen and I don't believe it is based on good or bad luck. You can strive to come out on top by being productive, disciplined, and creative but things may not turn out the way you want them to no matter how hard you work. It is good for leaders to be able to adjust to the situation be it good or bad, and continue to strive for a positive outcome.

Good leaders surround themselves around productive people. If a leader is good, chances are that they are productive, and many reasons are because they are around other productive workers. A good leader is also passionate about the company that they work for.

This was a great video, I liked the concept that a leader creates their own luck. Luck is often how you look at a certain situation, we can decide to turn a bad situation into a good one. Most great leaders use productive paranoia not even realizing it, it ensures that you're ready for whatever the outcome may be.

This video was my least favorite because I don't agree with what is said. You must plan for the worst but hope for the best, so you will not be expecting a miracle.

I like this video. I agree that productive paranoia is a great way for a leader to have success. I like how he says that Bill Gates didnt even see the future and how he was wrong. Running trials and seeing if they work is the best way to make it happen. Having the same number of good luck events and back luck events is example. Its having the higher return that is important. I thought this video was kind of confusing and scattered yet still interesting.

Being a good leader means creating your own luck. Yes, there are certain situations that are out of your control but it’s important as a leader to be prepared for the worst and seize the best. Sometimes, it’s about being in the right place at the right time but you might never be there if you don’t take the initiative. Being creative, productive, and disciplined will help you create your own luck which will ultimately lead to your success.

I do not believe in good luck or bad. If you are well prepared for whatever situation, then the outcome will be good and vise versa.

I don't necessarily believe that any individual creates luck. Luck is not something that comes from a random event, but rather it is something that comes to those who have prepared for those moments of hardship, along with those moments of blessings. Sure, people have big breaks in the casinos and stuff, but most of the time, they lose more than they win. As a business owner or manager, we create our luck by being willing to take risks, while also implementing plans of action for when we are successful and when we fail in some area. When we cover our basis and stay prepared and up to date, we can avoid being blinded by some unforeseen event and crashing the business.

Very deep video filled with great information. I did not know luck was a thing, but i guess it happens to all people now after watching this video. In the video Good luck you have to plan for it and see that it is going to happen. To do this you have to execute the job or actions. Also you have to have empirical creativity which is actual data of your situation. I like how was added because saying you just get lucky and nothing to back it up and weird.
