Some people are afraid to display there creativity because they might think that there idea is stupid or doesnt make sense. But every idea is a good one if a person takes the time out to do there research about there idea and try to critique it. I know if I have a great idea to offer somebody or a company, I'll speak up and say it, even if it sounds crazy, the idea might just work in the workplace or in everyday life.

David Kelley: How to build your creative confidence
This video was very interesting. The purpose of it was to explain to the audience that the creative process is personal process. As in every personal process for accomplishing tasks it takes self-confidence. This video demonstrated some interesting ideas about how to be confident in one's own process. I found this video helpful.

David Kelley: How to build your creative confidence
I really enjoyed this video! I almost always stress out when I have to be creative to complete a project. I have always seen myself, and tests have shown, that I am a left-brain person. I mostly think analytically and logically, and I usually have problems being creative. When there are many different ways to look at something, or many different answers to one question, this stresses me out. Being creative is a personal process; it comes very easy for some and harder for others. However, I feel that almost everyone can be creative. Overcoming the fear of using our brains to create something meaningful and special is truly beautiful. In fact, I have become much more creatively confident because of this class. Creating a website has helped me realize that I can build something from scratch and I can be artistic and creative. This exercise was my own snake that I overcame a fear of.

David Kelley: How to build your creative confidence
I enjoyed this video. Everyone has different fears. A big one is displaying ones creativity. This is probably due to prior instances that may be stuck in someone's mind. In this video, David Kelly explains a way to conquer your fears by gaining confidence. I know I have a fear of public speaking and I know as I become more confident it what I am presenting the better I can become at public speaking because I become more confident in the subject matter.

There is a lot of people out there that think of themselves as not creative and I do believe it was because someone said something bad about an idea they had, or they received criticism on a idea which made them self-conscious. People are afraid to stick their neck out because of that fear of what other people think about it. I believe that everyone is creative and it is up to them to ignore the people who say bad things about it. People will always say bad or hurtful things to someone, whether it be out of jealousy or something of the like, but they need to be ignored so that you can grow. Be confident in yourself and what you do, don't let other people dictate who you are, shake them off and get on going.

David Kelley: How to build your creative confidence
People are always scared to show off their skills. I think that we should not be scared when someone judges us, their opinion shouldnt shut us down, rather we should keep trying and perhaps ask someone else opinion. Another good advice the video gives, is to overcome your fears. Whether is from someone that tells you are doing things wrong or from fear of snakes as the video example. If you overcome your fears you will have more strength and more confidence to overcome larger things. You will also have less anxiety and will have a larger will to try harder. I will use this advice in my daily life, because overcoming any type of fear is a success that will help you be stronger in the future.

Some people are never able to become confident in what they do because others are always judging them so harshly. This video helps the viewer build their creative confidence. People are afraid to be judged. If one is able to be confident in themselves they will never be worried about others think. I believe that everyone should try to improve their self confidence it would help in many ways of life.

TITLE - David Kelley: How to build your creative confidence
After watching this video, I thought about the examples David Kelley used and if I hve had any similar experiences, and I have. From a young age, I have always told my friends I'm not very creative or I have no artistic bone in my body. But over the years I have found the confidence of being creative by taking different leadership roles and forcing myself to be open to new ideas (coming encounter with the self-efficacy theory). Once you conquer something that you view as a weakness (even if it is not creative confidence), you will find yourself less stressed and more ready to take on other difficult phases in your life.

This video encourages me to never be afraid that my idea is not important or won't work. I have learned that you rarely ever succeed the first time you try anything, and I can expect setbacks. However, constantly working on and creating my idea and making it become reality is a journey that only I, the dreamer, can venture on. It is up to me to make that reality.

David Kelley: How to build your creative confidence I have always been one that claimed to lack creativity. And I loved this video. It is a great thing for him to instill creative confidence in others and I hope to learn to do the same. The world today can be very negative but it is also possible to reach further avenues through technology. It seems that even if there is a large group of people who have no appreciation for something, somewhere there are many others that can see the greatness in that same thing. It is important to lift others up instead of putting them down.

I am someone who is not very creative and will admit that at the drop of a hat. This video was great! I think that it was a great thing for him to instill a creative confidence in those who think they lack that and I hope that I too can learn from it. Even when someone may see the negative in something there is always someone else who can see the greatness in the exact same thing. It is important to make others feel great rather than putting them down.

I would definitely share this link with friends and colleagues. Thank you professor!!! I think this video had lots of emotions for me. It made me think of when I was a child and did not have confidence. Or when you do something and someone lets the air out of the balloon. I am going to say that creative minds are a beautiful thing and should never be judged by its cover. Every being deserves to express themselves and give their own part to society or in business.
