People do not like to be judged which is why people are often "shied away" from expressing their opinions. Again, everyone has different points of view so if someone thinks negative of one's opinion, there is always someone else who can see the positive of that idea. If we were all the same this world would be a crazy place as if it isn't already. You should always express your opinion or ideas because there is always someone who agrees or can see the positive outcome from your idea.

Taking your creativity and showing it to others can be intimidating because you are putting yourself out there for people to tell you that its not a good idea. I fall prey to exactly what he is saying in this video. We have a "fear of judgement" afraid that people are going to feel poorly about our ideas. So we just keep them to ourselves. This is so important because if we suppress our ideas, thoughts, or creativity we could not only be depriving ourselves or success but we could possibly deprive others as well.

This video attempts to explain that we should be confident in ourselves especially when using our own ideas. A lot of people don't speak up in a group setting because they may feel like their ideas are stupid or may get shot down, but most of the time they have brilliant ideas and we should encourage others to think outside of the box.

I think it is really hard for people to be confident in their creativity. People today are so judgmental and often shoot down creativity at early ages. Creative minds are a rare and beautiful thing and all too often they are destroyed by people who don't understand them. I remember many times as a child being criticized by teachers and peers for art work or writing. It greatly discouraged me from developing these talents, and I regret not having the confidence to pursue these hobbies.

I know everyone has had great ideas at some point. But how many of these people have spoken out and presented it. Many people do not have the creative confidence to present their ideas in the workplace. Watching this video will teach you on how to build your confidence. By researching about your idea you will obtain more information about it and you will build confidence in talking about it. I know when i have to give a presentation the more i learn up about it the more confidence I have speaking to a class. This is a great video for anyone with creative confidence problems and for anyone in the workplace presenting an idea.

I find being creative difficult and I have always been told to do things a certain way, instead of exploring the unknown. I've taken up knitting and even though I'm not very good at it, I still enjoy it. I am a left-brained person and I find being creative difficult because I will over analyze everything and think it will fail.

There is a lot of people out there that think of themselves as not creative and I do believe it was because someone said something bad about an idea they had, or they received criticism on a idea which made them self-conscious. People are afraid to stick their neck out because of that fear of what other people think about it. I believe that everyone is creative and it is up to them to ignore the people who say bad things about it. People will always say bad or hurtful things to someone, whether it be out of jealousy or something of the like, but they need to be ignored so that you can grow. Be confident in yourself and what you do, don't let other people dictate who you are, shake them off and get on going.

Everyone is always going to be afraid to share their idea or opinion in fear of rejection. People are always going to judge but you need to look beyond that and always share your ideas to get feedback to further exceed!

This video definitely puts the creative process in perspective for me. I am usually one to sit in class and not volunteer or speak up as I am afraid of what others will think of my ideas. I wish it was as easy as simply watching a video and instantly gaining the ability to feel confident in your own ideas and value your input on others ideas as well, but this will help me as a stepping stone towards discovering my own creative process and feeling self-confident in the ideas I do develop. Rather than bash anyones given ideas or thought process, we should encourage them to speak up. Everyone seems to put each other down nowadays. After all, someone probably laughed at the guy who invented the pool noodle, but who is laughing now?

This video is cool. Being creative and having different ideas is a good thing. People often get nervous or afraid to share creative ideas but they shouldn't be. Every thing starts off as just an idea.

I Enjoyed this video. Confidence is so important in todays world. I like how he boosted the confidence in those that were not the most creative. I will admit I am confident in most areas of my life. I would say school has definitely boosted my confidence in having a feeling of belonging and that I can finish something I start with a job well done. Thanks for the video!

I like the idea of establishing a creative confidence. In my position at work, many of my ideas are not accepted by management because I am not in a higher position and they throw them to the waste side. It can be very discouraging when someone wants to display their creativity but it is not accepted by management.
