I agree with the entire video. I myself am Louisiana State Vice President for Future Business Leaders of America and President of community service organization on campus, and I tend to feel the difficulties that come along with being a female president. We do naturally have the trait of sitting back and just listening. I also enjoyed how they brought in the numerical facts which also backed up the statement. Hopefully one day we will become CEO's over at least 25% of the Fortune 500 companies but until then we will continue to work hard and excel.

This video was very interesting. I definitely believe women can be over looked for leadership roles in the workplace and they may be just as capable, if not more capable, than the other candidates. However, I do not believe "women are better business leaders than men". In fact, I do not believe being a better leader has anything to do with sex. There are many great men leaders and many great women leaders. I appreciate this video because the facts and statistics used in the video make a the great point, that diversity in the workplace is important. . If men and women were to work together more often than businesses may excel beyond that they have known.

I love this video. It is a motivation piece for the women who believe they won't make it as a leader. It is also an eye opener for the men who are sexist and believe that women shoud not and cannot become great leaders or lead anything. Women add that certain piece that men lack, which is compassion and the ability to actively listen. They do not have the huge egos as most men and are more creative and open to new ideas. Not saying that all women leaders have that ability, but most women can offer those things.

I agree with the video that women have higher emotional intelligence, and listening skills, however I think men can learn these things. I find that I am a very compassionate person and I think I do well in reading my coworkers emotions. I think that any person with empathy can manage this. Allowing people to talk and not talking over them is a respect thing. I think more women do it, but again I think men are capable of it. I'm not big on gender roles, so for me this video is a little less informative.

The facts in the video may be true but I think that both men and women can be good business leaders. Women may be better with communication but I think men can learn to communicate better and be just as successful as women. I also think is depends on the individual and how they work with others.

Well like most women, I really liked this video. There will always be sexist out there who believe that women just do not measure up to men in the workplace. However, I think it depends on a person's characteristics, ethics, and morals as to whether or not they will be a good leader. It's not all about male or female, it's about their actions.

Go women!!! The facts that video presents is amazing. I did not know women being CEO's of top companies rocked. The trait that sticks out to me is emotional intelligence. I think women have a strong scene of this. This is because they have that motherly instinct and have the caring attitude. Also women are strong and can lead a family and raise children all while leading a company. Dang!!

While the video has some valid points, I believe it is missing a few as well. Women In the workplace have a great way of communicating with one another and pay enough attention to detail to tell when something is wrong. Where women lack is in the overload of estrogen. When there is too much estrogen in the workplace, women become competitive and dramatic when something does not go our way. The mix of men and women sorts the workplace out and makes an efective environment.

I really enjoyed this video. Many woman in the business world are quickly judged, and often not taken as seriously as men are. What many people seem to forget is that we do have the upper hand when it comes to certain aspects. I don't believe women are any better then men, but we possess different characteristics. Woman definitely have more emotion intelligence. This may be due to our "motherly nature", or our nurturing ways. Woman are often better listeners, and can create a calmer, more relaxed atmosphere. Today, women are absolutely breaking the stereotype of a men only business world. As a woman in the business culture, i'm excited for the fresh opportunities that will come my way.

I wouldn't say women make better business leaders. Each company runs differently and the market for each company is different. Women may bring as much to the table as men and vice versa. I think it has to do with the knowledge of the business leader, the education, experience, and personal skills. To just say women in general make better business leaders isn't something I would agree with.

I feel this video had some exceptional statistics on how vital it is to be diversified in the workplace. Women bring a great element to the business world. I do sometimes feel we are fighting a bit of a stereotype daily and woman who become leaders are exceptional and should definitely be looked up to. In my job I deal with lots of office managers. Most of them are women and do a very good job.

It is so sad almost everyone has a vivid physical image of what a CEO should look like, and it’s usually a male. The reason that people have such a default figure of CEO is the reality, this is what the reality is like. 488 companies out of 500 companies use male CEOs, although the rest 12 companies with female CEOs have delivered amazing results. The positive side is the number “12” was grown from “0” at some point.

I really liked this video because it showed real life statistics. I think men and women are both equally capable of leading the workplace, but I think they do so in different manners. As the video says, women are better at active listening and emotional intelligence. There is also a better degree of communication, which is important in every aspect of life. I agree with one of the comments above that this has to do with upbringing. Men are raised to put their emotions aside for the most part. This can be helpful and hurtful at the same time in business matters. In a leadership role, sensing if your employees or business associates are upset about anything can have a great advantage in running the business just as it can in business deals and negotiations. Whether man or woman, this is an important leadership skill that can improve the work place and get better results from business endeavors.

Even though I enjoy videos stating "why women are generally better than males", I have to somewhat disagree. I believe a great leader doesn't depend on gender, race, or age. Leadership is a trait that can be learned and built upon through experience. Having great communication skills is key to being a successful leader. The statistics show that women are better in the management and leaderships role in business, which is hard to combat. Even with the statistics I believe that leadership is nondiscriminatory.

I think women are still under appreciated. They are still viewed as the home maker. Which means people assume they put their family first and work second. While the same people assume successful men put business first and family second. People also assume that when women get married and start having a family, that they will quit work to be a stay at home mom. So they are discriminating against them by not promoting them to the next level.
