INSTANT MBA: The Best Leaders Know Not To Fly Solo
Ever heard the saying that there is no "I" in team? This is so true. Leaders know that one person cannot single handedly make a difference. You need to be able to have the support of others in order to truly succeed. Businesses today are diverse and complex. Having one person trying to control all of this can be exhausting and can also be overwhelming. If you are able to share power as the article states, you are able to be more productive and have better time management.

I think as a leader it is really important to have a support system that you can trust to help with ideas and feedback. You need to be able to discuss with others to make sure that as many different aspects have been taken into account and properly addressed. You will not be able to do everything by yourself as much as you would like to think that you will be able to. I think as a leader it is important to show that you are able to listen and share ideas with others. This people are more willing to work with you and strive for excellence.

Doing things alone can be very difficult, especially in the workplace. I like having people there who can voice their opinions, whether they be good or bad. In order to be effective, it's necessary to have others on your team to give constructive feedback, even if it is criticism. It can always work for your good.

INSTANT MBA: The Best Leaders Know Not To Fly Solo
The best leaders know not to fly solo but instead fly as a team and make a skilled team. You never want to just go off of your own ideas but you want to build off of other peoples ideas and make it happen for yourself and your team. A good leader will build a solid team and learn and grow from them. We are all going to make mistakes in life but we have to be willing to learn from those mistakes.

INSTANT MBA: The Best Leaders Know Not To Fly Solo
"If absolute power corrupts absolutely, co-leadership enables, absolutely." This statement basically summarizes the entire article. How true it is that a good leader gives up some of her power in order to gain the respect and best performance of her employees. She realizes it's not humanly possible to go on forever being the sole reason as to why her company is a success. It takes a village to make a true success of any corporation, and great leaders realize this. I've been in situations where I've had micromanagers who have great success at destroying the morale of the company and bringing more stress upon themselves. It's sad that they don't realize that, as the author of this article states, great leaders ALLOW others to help them achieve greatness.

I agree entirely with this article. I also feel that this is one of the things that separates managers from leaders. A leader knows that a team is stronger than an individual and wants to better the team to become more successful. I don't want my employees to just be good at what we are currently working on, but to become better for having worked with me. I want my employees to learn how to lead themselves and how to positively impact other people that they interact with outside of work and just in general be better people throughout their lives.

It is important that a company has some type co-leadership because it promotes that employees are important as well. A manager should not act as if they are holding the ccompany on their back by their self. They have employees and other types of people on the team that are helpful. This is very important to the organization. Employees and leaders can create something amazing together. A manager should always try to get there employees into problem solving and creative thinking.

Co-Leadership is very important in business. The first benefit is that you don't have to take the fall all by yourself. It is great to have a partner in business because two heads are better than one. Their might be some disagreements but if their is a true goal and everyone feels apart of that overall goal. Leaders would be willing to put their ego's to the side. Two is better than one and when you have a partner their is someone who can help you to make the company even more successful.
