This video was very informal on the different ways businesses are funded such as angel investments which are investments from parents and friends and then from the equity or capital that a business owner may put into his or her own business. there are many was business can be funded but most of the funds are generated from the owner pocket of money which he or she may invest to the business as start up funds.

This video was very informative. I did not think that there were so many phases to funding a start-up business. I personally do not know if I want to start up my own business but it does give me an idea of how to do it if I decide to do it in my near future!

Starting a business can be extremely hard. Anyone can have an idea, but the hard part comes in when you need to fund it. I thought this video was very informative. Finding money to start a business is one of those things I was not really sure how to do. But with the 5 steps mentioned, it simplifies it nicely.

I have never thought of starting something so large before. I have never run something so large before. This required a certain amount of confidence that I just don't have yet. What will I do. Don't know. Probably I just wont do it.

I never knew how funding a new business would work. I knew that it would have to start with your own money, but I wasn't sure about the steps that came after that. Funding a new business is an extremely risky venture and I applaud those with the determination to do it.

This video is very helpful, when starting a business the cost of involving yourself with time and money is extremely difficult. There is a chapter on human capital that I found very interesting that the return for most businesses at the beginning stages is about five years.

I like how the video uses two and half minutes to tell us about the natural growth of a small business when it starts from funding. I have been seriously considering starting my own business when I go back to China, this video just taught me how to generate funding when I start my own business. Crowd funding is the one that interests me and seems the most feasible to my status.

I did not know that there were phases involved in funding a startup. I thought the video was very informative it gave a lot of facts and sometimes it was hard to follow. But if you took the time to rewatch the video a couple of times it would be a very helpful video. This is a great video for people looking to open ones own business or organization. This video also shows how it takes a couple of years to become successful and to make it in the business world.

This video was informative about obtaining funding for starting a business. It was interesting to note the different phases when getting funding. Most people who start a business need financial assistance so this video could be helpful to those interested.

I love the idea of using “kickstarter” methods for seed funding. These methods are great as they allow innovators to effectively gauge ideas and product attractiveness. Projects, normally, come to fruition if they meet certain customer demand via customer donations. This means, ultimately, there is less risk associated with kickstarters. If the product proves undesirable it never leaves the ground…individuals, therefore, save time and money which would have been spent on bad investments.

I really like the way this video presented the information. Starting a new business can be a very scary thing to do. Many new businesses do not succeed. It is hard to bounce back after a failed business attempt. I like the idea of using KickStart and other similar sites to help fund new ventures. Spreading the risk to many different people can certainly help a new startup succeed.

Starting up a business is very costly. Before diving in, it is important to understand that it could be a few years before you reap the benefits. There was a lot that I did not realize went into starting up a business.

Asking for funding and receiving the proper form can be important. Kickstarter is mentioned and I know that it's quite popular right now. Using funding to create profits can be very important in this fast age. I feel like start-ups really to heavily on equity and not generating profits from a product.
