I enjoyed watching this video on how to fund a start-up business. The video had a lot of information that I had not heard much about before. I plan on using this information in the future with respect to possibly looking for capital for my own business endeavors.

This video was very informative. It re-enforced just how much time and effort it takes to open your own business. One of my friends opened up a boutique a couple of years ago, and it definitely consumes her time. Every business is different but if you want your business ran right, you have to be there the majority of the time. I never care to open up my own business because I've seen to many bad situations.

I found this video boring and not very clear. informative in some ways. Starting up a business can be difficult and seed money sure does help. Coming up with a business plan that investors will be interested in is important because they will be the ones funding your business in the beginning.

This was very informative and very precise. I like the idea of phases in a start up of a company. I do know that it takes a while to make a profit when opening a company but she gave some very insightful tips. I will remember this when I want to start my own business. It also sounds like I need to start saving money now.

I like this video and I think a lot of people will too. I know I'm guilty of wanting to start my own business. I really like the breakdown of how funding comes for VC's because I never knew so much went into it. I guess starting big corporations takes massive amounts of money to eventually turn a profit. In this case so much money goes towards a corporation that, for the first 4 years or so, has a good chance of failing. The decisions made on these ventures must be very very well calculated. Good video, I learned a great deal about this process.

I had no idea that there were so many phases to funding a start-up business. I had always thought that the owner of the start-up just invested their money into a savings account, and then when the time was right, they'd take it out and start up the business. I never realized that there were a lot more that went into it.

I spend more time during these videos watching the drawings, rather than listening to what is being said. Although, this video is about a pretty common need in a business, so the video is easy to understand. I think this concept is pretty obvious: without funding, your business is going to fail or rather, never begin. Without understanding the basic necessities of finance for your start up business, you'll never be successful. In my opinion, the most common lack of knowledge is actually in the financial area. Therefore, we will often find a way to hire accountants or financial advisors to do all of our work for us. We also need to have a good, steady set of communication skills in order for us to effectively land the investments that we are looking for. If we can understand that aspect, be a good communicator, and work hard, our dream of starting a business will become a reality.

I don't ever plan on starting a business because it seems way too stressful and difficult and the chances of succeeding are very slim. But it makes since that the first people you would go to would be friends and family who support you, and then your business partners and yourself putting in 1/3 of the requirements and then getting money from supporters and funders who believe in your product's success. Of course, if it fails, you will have a lot of enemies.

I really enjoyed this video! For most entrepreneurs, starting up a business will be very expensive. There are a few different ways to accumulate startup money and even with this funding, it can take years before a business is stable. I was surprised to learn that twitter is still receiving startup money. Overall, starting up a business can be risky, but with the right help, a business will become successful.

This link i thought was very useful to me. With it being about starting up a business I plan to hopefully start up my own business so knowing how to start in that direction is key and this video helped. The phases that the video brought you were very clear and structured for anyone to follow and an entrepreneur. Profits do not happen right away but with the right steps your start up business can flourish and succeed.

I liked this video. I have never looked into starting up my own business. Maybe it will be something I do in my future but I have no plans to. I did not know about all the phases and planning that goes into starting your own business. This video would be very helpful for anyone who is looking to start their own business. If I know of any entreprenuers, I will be sure to share this video with them.

Being an accounting major, I focus a lot on where my money goes, but some people are not as savvy with their financing as others. Putting money away for a rainy day is always something I have done. Entrepreneurs sometimes do not factor in enough funds for further down the line because they count on revenue from the business to take care of things. These five steps are a smart way to plan ahead. Putting money away and forgetting about it, is a great way to earn more money. This video was very informative for those interested in starting up a business.
