The concept of a To-Don’t list is mainly for those that have many ideas and things to do. It is an interesting idea and will help people be successful by helping them prioritize what is important. It is important to not worry about the little things and make sure to accomplish the more important things in life and career. This list will help to not waste time.

I think it is a great idea to have a to don't list. With this list, you isolate the less important tasks enabling you to focus on a few important tasks. This will also help me from becoming overwhelmed when my to do list gets too long. I am going to give it a try.

I don't know about this one. Saying yes to everything would be ridiculous. If you are in a job and you get one big thing done in a year you had a good year. But i do not have time daily to sit around and thing of ideas. Not the best video from this man, didn't like it.

This man is so negative! I really don’t like the idea of a to don’t list. The way I plan out things is that I set a goal of maybe two or three things that I want to get done that day. I feel like doing it this way helps me keep up with my schoolwork but also doesn’t get me overwhelmed. I feel like making a to don’t list is almost the same idea as this but instead of saying I’m going to get these two or three things done today, I won’t get the rest of everything else I need to do done. It just sounds really negative and I will not be making a to don’t list in the future.

I liked this video. I understand where he is coming from in saying that you need the "to- dont" list. Its amazing how caught up we can get in our to do list, that we never even focus on the things we are doing that are not benefitting us. Making this list will keep you focused on the big picture, the big projects that need to be accomplished. In doing this, you will be much more time efficient and successful.

This is a good video for very busy minds. I personally can relate to this because I come up with way more ideas than i know what to do with. What he's trying to get across is that in order to be more productive we need to limit ourselves to the best and most likely ideas. I feel that this concept is largely situational and the need for a "to don't list" depends on each person or position. However, busy minded people do need to keep the bigger picture in mind. It's always appropriate to absorb as much info as possible about a particular problem or situation but narrowing that info will make the difference.

Great Video! I make a to-do list everyday and it usually just makes me more stressed and then disappointed if I don't finish everything. By realizing was doesn't need to be completed asap, one can focus on the main tasks at hand and knock the higher priority things out of the way. By getting those major tasks done first, you will not be overwhelmed by the small ones and will feel accomplished. I think a To-Don't List is a great idea.

I agree and disagree with this video. I do the complete opposite by making a to-do list and keep it to a minimum and by only focusing on the things a can get done in a timely manor. Making a to-don't list seems like a waste of time to me because those are the things that won't get done. But I'm not saying this won't work for others because everyone's different and it could be beneficial for some.

This video is really hard for me to understand. I am go go person who does not know how to say "no" when somebody says do this or go here. I think this video is for long term things you write on a list and then cross off what is not important right then and focus on the big stuff. I can focus on the big things but you need the little things to build up to the big things.

I think a lot of people are missing the point of this video. He is not saying that we should not take risks or dream big, but rather, he is basically saying that we should allow ourselves to focus on one dream or goal at a time, rather than clogging our minds with so many ideas at once, that even the most important ideas become diluted and don't get accomplished. Oftentimes, we can become so busy that we forget to accomplish many goals, and therefore pile different things onto our workload, stressing us out and making us less productive. Dream big! Don't stop dreaming! But don't allow your mind to become so cluttered with information that you lose sight of the big picture, because you are looking at hundreds of different roads and projects at one time. That one thing may be the thing that helps you change the world, but it can't be accomplished to its fullest potential, when it is simply sitting alongside 50 other items on a list.

I agree with this video. Americans tend to be very fast paced and always in a rush to get a million things accomplished. Every single day I make a to do list and rarely do I ever achieve everything on it. Then, at the end of the day I feel like I haven't accomplished very much because I set too many to do's for the day. Learning to prioritize my tasks is a weakness. If I made a to-don't list I think I could focus on the most important tasks at hand each day.

I was rather confused by this video. Being in school for business, we are told to have a to-do list, to have a list of things that we need to get done in the day or week or month or whatever the time frame is. We have this list so that we can feel a sense of accomplishment when we cross off a task. The concept of a to-don't list, in my opinion, seems to be the opposite of what we've been told.

I think making a to don't list would waste more time than making a to do list or actually doing the things you know need to get done. I personally would never waste any time making a to dont list with my busy schedule.

The idea of the To-Don't list is good. I will begin to create one of my own and see how it plays out. I love how he said his mother is from the south and taught him to say yes to everything. A lot of us have been taught that as well who have been raised in the south and a lot of people take offense from the "yes ma'am" and "no ma'am" who are from up north. When you focus on what you don't need to do, in result, you end up doing what you do need to do.

This video really made me look at what my to do list has that maybe should be on my to don't list. Some things on the to do list make not be the correct ones at the time of when the outcome you want to achieve surreal at the moment. I think that someone who can make a to don't list is really the one to set the right ones for them self and allows them to be more responsible in knowing what do do and when to do it. This result of not making a to don't list could possibly cause people to rush into things instead of looking at all of the things as different steps. I could definitely use this concept at work but also in my daily life.
