Instant MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out I feel like sometimes people can be so spiteful and jealous. Just because someone made it doesn’t mean they are a sellout. Maybe if people would quit sitting around waiting for an opportunity to fall in their lap and go make one happen, they would become a sensation also. I commend all of those who have worked hard to get to where they are in life. And even though there will be back lashes, ignore it. People are jealous because they aren’t where they want to be at in life and you’ve made a way for yourself. I do not believe in sellouts. I feel like considering someone as a sellout is a juvenile thing to say. How about getting out there and paving the way for yourself as well? This article has two thumbs up from me, and I would recommend it to anyone to read.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
We have to follow our dreams no matter what others think. In any industry, there will always be people who just can't accept the fact that someone else can be better, so they would try to undermine other's successes. However, as long as you work on your dreams with conviction and honesty, there is no reason for letting others make us feel bad. This is a good article to read for those who find ways to stand out in any discipline, so they know that there will always be hurdles to overcome and that they should not pay attention to whatever people call them.

Instant MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
In almost any work place an industry there will be some people that say you are a "sell out" or "suck up" as you become successful, but this is not something that you should allow to slow you down. Some of this may be driven by jealousy and some will just be because they don't know what to say. As you approach the work place and strive for success, the top things that I try to keep focused on are integrity and ethics. If at the end of the day I can tell myself that I have maintained these two principles, then I don't allow myself to get hung on the comments and thoughts of others. You do want to listen to what others have to say and realize these are opinions that others hold and understand why they hold these opinions. There will be times that you need to address these things, but you don't want to allow them to rule your every decision.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
You shouldn't let what other people think hinder your success. Just because some people may not approve of what you're doing, if you enjoy it and are successful, then you should continue it. Tony Hawk had no reason to feel ashamed of becoming well known for his video game. I would never not take a great opportunity just because of what other people may think.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
In this case it sounds a lot like jealousy of the other skaters in the industry. In my opinion you can't call someone a sellout unless they are doing it as a last resort for money. If any of these other guys were given the opportunity to make a video game named after themselves they would've jumped at it immediately. If you're one of the best at what you do then you should be able to express it in any way you can. I'm not much of a skateboarding fan but I have no problem with Tony Hawk, or anyone for that matter, doing what they can to be more successful.

Instant MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
It's wrong for anyone to call someone else a sellout, and most of the time it's only due to jealousy! No matter who or what comes in your way, if you are successful in something you love you should continue to do it forever. I agree with Scott when he says that if anyone would have been given this opportunity they would have jumped at it, this is only because Tony Hawk got the chance first.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
The fact that some people feel that it is okay to call someone a sellout because they decided to do something productive with their time is just crazy to me. Why not be creative with your time and do something that will make you successful, then maybe you will get attention also. There is no reason for the backlash and the jealousy, evidently this person decided that they weren't going to settle for less so they went out and did what they had to do to get where they are. So instead of being jealous of this person others should learn from their success. There will always be a negative Nancy around when you are doing well and when people are paying attention to you, so this shouldn't be a reason to stop doing what you love.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
No matter what other people think or say, you have to do what you want to do. People are going to get jealous when the spotlight isn't on them. You can't let people like that make you feel a certain way because they just want what you have. They only make fun of it because they don't have the fame or the attention. No matter what they say, if you love what you do, don't stop for anyone. Especially for the people who are jealous and spiteful of your success.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out Hawk makes a great point in this article with a very interesting topic. When I think of skateboarding, the first pro-skater name that comes to mind is Tony Hawk. They didn’t even need to include his first name in the article because when they mentioned the name “Hawk” and continued to reference skateboarding, I immediately knew who they were talking about. Tony Hawk is no sell-out, as he still skates competitively with a substantial record behind it. The fact that he was able to make money off of his products does not diminish his image as a skateboarder because it’s a positive image that boosts his products market base by promoting skateboarding to others. When you run a business, if it is for the right cause, you will never “sell-out”, only sell-out of inventory in which case you’ll need more.

INSTANT MBA: Make Your Employees Passionate For Their Company
I think this is what will keep employees long term if they are passionate for their company. Many employees start off enthusiastic with a new job, but keeping them there is the challenge for most managers and employers. It is was the employee strives for. Employers must keep employees engaged in the workplace, this is what the customer sees and feels. Having motivated employees will always fare better than those companies with just workers. Employees need to feel they are a priority for management and want to be passionate about their company.

I think that being a sellout is not necessarily a bad thing in business. Like the article said it means that people have heard about you or your products. In business you want you name to be heard and your products to be talked about. This means that you are doing something right if they are saying good things and doing things wrong if they are saying negative things. I believe that as long as you are passionate about what you are doing and you are dedicated to your business, you will never be a sellout.

INSTANT MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
I would say that you should sell yourself but not risk giving up all of your assets to make ends meet and just to get by. Everyone should just focus on their dream and they wouldn't have to worry about selling out. Selling out is another way of saying that there is no more originality, and that you are giving up. I don't think you will be a sellout if you just follow your dream.

Instant MBA: You Need To Sell Out Without Selling Out
I believe you should follow your dreams even if they do not fit others lifestyle. That is what makes you unique. A lot of times people will not agree with the things you do or the choices that you make but you cannot let that stop you from doing what you love. What Hawk did was not considered selling out it was considered pursing a great business opportunity and being successful at it. I believe the ones that called him a sell out were the ones that wish they would have done it first.
