After watching this video, I have a different outlook on the television show. I have alot of friends who watch this and I have never given it the time of the day. I was one of the ones who said "theyre famous without a talent." Truth is, they do have a talent. They are fashion designers. It is interesting that their business is honestly just a video of their life. That is a great way to make money. I would love to make money just by hanging out with my family. Although, I would never want my business on national television. They have turned their family into fame and I applaud her for what she has done for her family.

I personally never listen to advise from rich kids who were handed everything their entire lives. They do not really know what they are talking about, and no one should listen to them.

Personally, I would find it very intrusive to continually have cameras roaming around my home, monitoring every move that I make, and then broadcasting those moves on national television. However, I cannot argue against the massive empire that is built around this entire family. The show, in my opinion, has its pros and cons. For some families, they have begun watching the show from day one and have developed a sense of connection to one or more of the family members and will begin to base their actions around that character. The con is that some people will lavish themselves with some of the things that the family does and will not be able to keep up with them, resulting in sadness, depression, etc. I think the ultimate message is about creating a connection and relationship with your customers. If we can enforce a sense of engagement among our employees and customers and bring them on board with our mission and strategy, we can build empires similar to the success of this one. Connection is key in any business.

The Kardashians’ are smart business women who have successfully grown their business over the last few years. With their show, they are able to show their clothing stores and the work that it takes to run their business. They design the clothes for the line they have themselves and also market by wearing the clothes and asking their fans on social media what they want out of their products. Kim is an example of that asking her fans which color they would like for the packaging of her perfume. Through the show, they were able to have people relate to them which developed a fan base that wanted their products. People who only know of the negative things about the family may not agree that they are successful but as Kris said in the interview from her daughters hard work their line at Sears in one quarter nearly tripled.

I personally do not keep up with these people because I have my own life to keep up with. However, I do think they have a great advantage in the business world. Being on Tv and social media really gives them great brand recognition. However, if they weren't on Tv they probably would not be as successful.

Although I am certainly not a faithful "Keeping up with the Kardashians" viewer, I do commend Kris Jenner for being a smart business woman. They are a very successful family who utilizes their fame. People watch their show because it is entertaining, and are interested in what they do on a daily basis.

This is such a joke. The Kardashians is a terrible show and this lady exploits her family for money. They are only famous because of RAY- J anyways. Didn't like this video.

I am not a Kardashian fan, but this video was informaitive if it's factual. It is hard for me to believe the sincerity in them. I will say she's a marketing powerhouse and they may be genius because clearly they are doing something right. It's their thing, it's her thing it's what she does. I will say this has sparked curiosity to where I now am following them on twitter... not that I will read the tweets everyday but I will kind of be in the know. As for Kris on business, I was surprised. She articulated herself and what she does very well. And as for her 10% of everything the girls do, heck yea she should get it. She's their manager.

I never thought something so smart could come out of keeping up with the Kardashians. I think one of Kris’s best points is that she actually has a business plan for her daughters and she had this plan even before the show started. I like seeing how much her plan has blossomed through this video. She has definitely done a good job with gathering a loyal fan base for their show and marketing off her daughter’s different brands. She knows how to take her show and use it to her advantage with marketing their products.

Now this is a very interesting and unexpected video. I have never watched the show before but I, like many others, had a prejudgment of their characters. When, in actuality, the Kardashian daughters were exposed to business before the show even aired. I was never aware of the behind-the-scenes business that was taking place on a regular basis. I find it very interesting that Kris takes a percentage of their profits just any manager would do for a client. This seems to be a good option since Kris can manage their lives at a minimal charge but with their absolute best interest in mind. Kris kept their dreams a priority and now her daughters are benefitting from their own interests in clothing, jewelry, and other products. I find it interesting that Kim understands the importance of social media and tries to include her followers in the product design. Although I believe that the television show brings a lot of money tot he family, I don't think Kris is worried about the family's popularity through it. In closing, I think there are many values intact and business integrity behind the scenes and what most people see. I won't be as quick to judge in the future. This video was a good watch but I probably wont share it.

I personally don't watch the kardashian's because I feel like its a lot of drama. Even tho I don't enjoy the show, I can see that Kris is a great businesswoman and she knows what she's doing. It's pretty cool that she is her daughters manager and has built the family into fame and success. I don't think highly of how they first got their spotlight from Kim's mistakes but it is interesting that it has brought them to where they are today.

I've actually been watching The Kardashians for a long time and love the show. I don't think anyone in their right mind would have thought their empire would have grown this much. At the same time, I couldn't expect something like this to happen for anyone else. It's just astonishing and I agree with their mom that the entire family is talented and they do work very hard for what they have. Like their mom said in the interview, there is so much going on with the entire family, it's hard to stop watching.

I personally don't enjoy the Kardashians family, but Kris did have some great points about capitalizing off of her reality show to promote her daughters brands. I'm sure the fact that they are an attractive family and only date successful athletes has a part to it also, however they are using a easy forum of advertisement. She has truly turned her family into a business and they all play artificial roles in it as well, but hey, they're millionaires from a reality show that isn't truly all reality.

interesting stuff here. what the Kardashians have is a lot of market influence. people want to see where they are doing. people like to be a part of their lives. i think its amazing how they turned a simple aspect of their family into a multimillion dollar business which is their show. just goes to show that you can always find a way if you are resourceful with what you've got.

I have never been a fan of the kardashians, nor do I really know how they got famous, but that's beside the point. That fact that I know of them without having to do any kind of research shows how business savy they are. They have built a brand out of their family's name and that's what keeps them successful.
