INSTANT MBA: Show Your Employees That You Trust Them To Do Good Work
"Create an environment of respectful but robust debate and allow people to disagree. Anyone in the organization, regardless of their role, should be able to share a strong argument and make their point. The truth and a well-supported argument should always win out over politics and hierarchy." What a refreshing concept….. I agree that you must give employees who earn your trust and confidence “room to succeed”. Should this the purpose of hiring employees, not only to help with the work but also to help with the company’s success.

INSTANT MBA: Show Your Employees That You Trust Them To Do Good Work I like this article because building a healthy relationship is essential in business. Managers shouldn't hover over their employees every ten minutes to see if they're doing their work or if its right because it would make the employees feel as if you don't trust them or what's the point of them doing it if you're going to constantly check their work. I think the best way to build trust is to simply let them do the work and help them when help is needed instead of trying to help when they are doing perfectly fine. Giving someone the opportunity to prove themselves will contribute to their growth in the company, there should always be somebody in your organization that you are able to trust to get the job done.

INSTANT MBA: Show Your Employees That You Trust Them To Do Good Work
It is important to show each employee empowerment. Let them know that you trust them to make accurate decisions on behalf of the company. If you hire great people, they will go above and beyond your expectations and succeed. That is, if you allow them to. If you do not trust them to do good work, you will never know their full potential. This will only put more pressure on yourself because you do not trust others to do as good of a job as you. This will allow a more open, friendly work environment where people will want to come work at.

I think it is important to hire people who are ambitious and goal driven. Once you find the right people to hire they have to be allowed to find their niche and work to the best of their abilities. As a manager you need to provide an atmosphere that allows for people to work as hard as they can while being able to discuss ideas and arguments. This way they will be able to achieve the goals that are laid out in front of them. If you instill a trust in employees that you have faith in what they are producing there is a chance that the end product will be great.

Just like a parent should in raising a child, it is important to learn when to let go of control. Having someone always looking over your back and making sure you are doing the right things can make your job difficult. It's sometimes good to let an employee do their job and to be trusted in doing it. It is also just as important to build relationships with your employees to establish this trust in them. Most employees do not want to let down a boss who cares for them.

INSTANT MBA: Show Your Employees That You Trust Them To Do Good Work
You have to let your workers work and have faith in them. Don't try to micromanage your worker and watch over them all the time. This can be counterproductive and may hurt your workers. You have to be on top of your team and make sure everyone knows what they are doing. Let your workers work and help them succeed let them make there mistakes and help them learn from there mistakes.

INSTANT MBA: Show Your Employees That You Trust Them To Do Good Work
"The truth and a well-supported argument should always win out over politics and hierarchy." Wow! This is the most powerful and truthful statement (in my opinion) I've read yet. This article is probably the best of all articles read to date. I have the utmost respect for any manager who can put his/her ego aside and allow his/her employees to truly succeed and perform to the best of their ability. In my experience, it is managers like this who have earned the most respect from me and their other employees. It's also those managers who are able to cause their employees to do their best work as they want to please their managers. When one feels appreciated and respected, it is human nature to want to do more for those showing the appreciation and respect. Therefore, I strongly agree with this author and am hoping that I can be that type of classroom manager in my new profession.

INSTANT MBA: Show Your Employees That You Trust Them To Do Good Work
I agree and I do not believe a manager can be successful without showing their employees that they trust them to do their jobs well. One person cannot do everything and a good manager knows this simple fact. Micro management is garbage and makes your employees feel that you do not trust them. I follow up behind my employees after they complete tasks and give feedback to correct issues or praise accordingly. Managers do not need to stand by their employees and critique them while they are trying to perform because it undermines their abilities and also makes many of them less efficient because they know you are watching them and don't trust them.

Instant MBA: Show Your Employees You Trust Them To Do Good Work
In this link it discusses that giving your employees room to take initiative in the workplace. Employees need room to do their job and a manager that is always there will never help the employee grow. It is also important that The manager give them all the tools that they need, meaning that you should not just throw the employee in the field. A manager should give the employee the proper training and let them show what they are capable of.

It is great when your boss gives you a task and lets you kind of go on your own. I walk into work every morning and first thing I ask is What are my goals for the day. I am very independent employee I like to know what my duties are so I can do them. This allows for your employees to set their pace and complete their task usually faster than you expected. Managers should set goals each day or each week. This helps employees to never have idle time because they know exactly what they should be doing. This might not work in all environments because of the staff or workload.

I agree with this article on hiring great people and getting out the way. This is great when you have clear goals in mind. Entrepreneurs should have the control of the company but letting the employees discuss changes or issues is definitely great for employee moral. Letting the employee have power and listening to them makes you a great leader and potentially helps your business grow.
