INSTANT MBA: Managers, You Need To Walk The Talk
This article offers a great advice for current and prospective managers. Leading by example leaves a strong message to employees about the culture of the organization. Trainings about company's policies and codes of conduct are not enough to ensure compliance. Managers have to behave according to these policies, and employees will act the same way. Reputation is an important element of any successful organization, and this is achieved by not just offering quality products and services but also by developing a consistent and well-built corporate culture.

INSTANT MBA: Managers, You Need To Walk The Talk
If you can't practice what you preach, you shouldn't be preaching! All managers should carry themselves in the same manner they want their employees to. When you show your employees that the vision of the organization is just as important to you by setting daily examples of how an employee of your company should conduct themselves, this shows them that you too are dedicated to the organization. You want to shows your employees that in order to be successful they must follow your lead. When both you and your employees are walking the talk, there is no doubt that your company will develop a strong culture. When there is a strong culture within your organization it reflects on the outside, which leads to a positive reputation for your company.

INSTANT MBA: Managers, You Need To Walk The Talk I agree with this article. Managers who want their employees to act in a professional and respectful way should act that way as an example. Managers who tell their employees to be hard workers but then don't work hard themselves are not building the respect needed from their employees. This could be how some businesses fail, with a manager that barks orders all day but doesn't do any work himself causing conflict between his employees, resulting in less efficient work being accomplished. I think that walking the talk, leading by example, is the best way to lead even if you don't say a word to your employees.

Instant MBA: Managers You Need to Walk The Talk This article was every bit of the TRUTH. Managers and bosses alike have to lead by example if they expect their business to prosper. As a leader, you have to understand that the people beneath you look up to you and will follow you. Also, innovation will be up for question if managers do no walk the talk. I mean that if managers are not leading by example and employees are not doing what they are supposed to be doing, then how will the company become innovative? A lot will be at stake including profits, if managers do not step to the plate and lead their team to success. I believe that this article gives great advice to both current and perspective managers and bosses alike.

INSTANT MBA: Managers, You Need To Walk The Talk
At work, the top management is referred to as leaders. This is to remind us that we are not bosses, but rather individuals who lead others to the paths that they should take. We show others what to do through example. When we start to slip up, you can begin to see others begin the pattern. This makes us reevaluate the way we are doing things and fix them so that no other employee may pick up on our bad habits.

INSTANT MBA: Managers, You Need To Walk The Talk
I strongly agree with this article. It is very important for management to lead by example. I have seen examples of management leading by example as well as situations where they did not. When management leads by example, the entire organization believes in the values and goals set by leadership. They not only hear management speaking these things, but they actually see them in action and have a great understanding of what is expected. In the situations that I have experienced where management did not lead by example, the organization appeared to be confused and unsure of any desired directions.

Taking a step back and reflecting on your actions is something corporate America is beginning to realize is important as getting things done as soon as possible. The use for corporate retreats shows that companes dont want just someone you can get things dont soon but someone who knows what it is they are doing.

I would really like to see this happen at my job. I hear them talk about how we will get this and that done, but so far a lot of stuff still isn't done due to poor management. Granted, there are some good managers at my job and need to know how other managers operate. And there are some managers that know about other terrible managers and just complain, and not do what they are supposed to do.

As a leader you must be able to practice what you preach. It's like a captain of a sports team, the younger players are always going to be looking at you to see what to do because you're their leader and have been there longer. So if you are saying one thing and doing the other, they will probably go with what they see because they want to be like you and want to be in your position. Moral of the story is to act like you want others to act in your business. Don't say all the right things and do all the wrong things.

I absolutely agree with this and I feel that more managers should act this way. Anybody can say this and promise that but if you don't follow up with what you say you're gonna do then it makes other employees not trust you and not really care about their jobs anymore. Don't just say things that will make other people happy; follow through with your actions and let all the employees know that you're thinking about them and that you care about making the company a better workplace for them.

Leading by example is one of the most important things leaders can do. A leaders attitudes, actions, and words set the example for how the other employees should interact and perform at work. If they have a leader who does what they say, they are more likely to do the same themselves. It is important for a leader to create a work place that emulates respect, creativity, and passion. one way for them to do this is through their actions. When this type of work place is created, employees are more likely to be more productive.

INSTANT MBA: Managers, You Need To Walk The Talk
Too many managers today think that just because they are in charge, the rules don't apply to them. That leads to way more problems than most anything else. I've worked with managers, young and old, male and female, who thought they were above the rules, and some who set good examples. It never takes more than a day to find out which is which, and it takes even less time than that to see how smoothly things are running. It is impossible to convince people that a company is good and right when the people who are supposed to represent that company don't follow ay guidelines, even though they tell employees that they are for "the good of the company."
