INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Dennis quotes a first lady who said "It takes a village...." In education, I hear that a lot: It takes a village to raise a child. That saying is so true. In any business, the manager or person in charge should always be open to allow his "team" to help him reach success. Every one of us comes into the environment with unique personalities, with our own unique talents to offer. If our bosses allow us each to contribute our bests, it seems to me that it's inevitable that the business itself is a success. Just like in education, a student is much more likely to be successful if everyone involved in that child's life helps him to be. Every employee and every child deserves a dream team.

In the business world it is important to surround yourself with people who are able to help support innovation. If you are surrounding yourself with the appropriate people the chance to come up with new ideas or ways to conduct business will increase. While trying to assemble your team you want to look for people who are diversified in the ways they think, but are going to work together to get business heading in the correct way. Make sure they're are team players amongst the team so that everyone's ideas are heard and discussed. This way, all options are explored and the best possible outcome will hopefully be the result.

Instant MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
When trying to create something it is best to have a creative team. You must have people who are not selfish and who are loyal to the cause. Some people may have doubt about where your team is heading but those doubts should be as far as possible from your goal. Your dream team must be dedicated and motivated to do almost anything to make the ideas of the team as lucrative as possible.

Teamwork provides ideas that one may not have thought of on their own. "Two heads are better than one" goes great with this article. I think it's important to find people who can work together. People with complementary skills is most beneficial. These people can pick up the slack in areas where other team members are not experts in. Having a team makes things work out better than having one person completing all the tasks making them overwhelming.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Assemble a dream team and create the best possible team you can. By doing this and always having your team with the right skills and determination will help your company succeed. Not only will they most likely do a great job but you could also learn something from them. You never want to just throw together a B/S team but instead look for the best of the best. Sometimes hard work is the key to success and you have to be willing to put in the work to succeed.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Parts of this article are valuable but I have not seen this alleged dream team in multiple years of management. I believe the best you can do is have a strong core group of employees and constantly recruit to replace the less effective employees. People react differently in different situations and you cannot expect to maintain a perfect dream team indefinitely. Things happen and employees change and becoming complacent with an alleged dream team is going to cripple a business when they lose a key player and do not have cross training and back up employees in place for situations like retirement or pregnancies.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
I’m not sure if a “Dream Team” can be purposely put together. While Mr. Goin is correct in stating mangers should avoid “unfocused or selfish individuals,” it is difficult to mesh personalities, many times this phenomenon happens naturally. Any dynamic group that works well with each other can be considered a “Dream Team” and should be supported. However, I have reservations if this type of group can be assembled intentionally.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Like I said before I agree with the author and for me I think it starts with finding the right team members, finding people who are already passionate and driven about whatever their particular talent or gift is, and then giving them a mission, a vision, and a path forward. When people see that they can have an impact on something bigger than themselves, that's how they get inspired. These are the people that you need to have in order to have a dream team.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Managers should not be responsible for everything in a company. They need to be sure they hire creative and innovative people to help them come up with ideas for the company. Hiring a diverse group of people can help your company because you will have different minds coming up with different ideas. This is important because a company needs a lot of different ideas to continue to innovate and change as customers' preferences change.

Goin says "you should focus on finding a diverse group, while avoiding unfocused or selfish individuals, when assembling a coalition." I agree with this and you should always look for teams who get thing done. Every team has issues but overcoming these issues and moving past them can make this team stronger and more focused.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Assembling a dream team is the way to go when implementing a new strategy or changes in an organization. The strategy will have to spread throughout the organization to be effective, one person is far more weaker than a group. Finding those people that are open and free thinkers in addition to initiators and motivators are great for the team. People with those skill can take the initial plan and expand on it, making it better than before. With the right team members almost any idea is possible with in reason.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Establishing a team of diverse and creative individuals to spark ideas and growth is a fantastic idea. Leaders alone cannot dream up every idea and every different strategy on their own, it just is not done. A team of individuals committed to brainstorming and growth is essential to any organization.

INSTANT MBA: Assemble A Dream Team
Leaders cannot implement new strategies and ideas on their own, assembling an ideal team of employees who are both innovative and creative is very important. It is the responsibility of the leader of this team to ensure that all members are in cohesion. Not everyone possess the skills needed to work with others, you will find that some employees are overly competitive, which is not a trait you want someone on your team to have. It is important to analyze all potential members of your team and make sure that they have what it takes to work with others to come up with new strategies that can help benefit your organization.I agree with this article.
