INSTANT MBA: When Interviewing Job Candidates, Stop Looking For Mr. Right
When a supervisor is interviewing a potential employee for a job of course they have specific goals in mind that they want the person in the interview to meet. But sometimes you have to think outside of what qualities you think the potential employee should have. Sometimes these qualities are not what the job really calls for. I think this is why it is important to give potential employees more than one interview with more than one person actually conducting the interview. When done this way, there will be more than one opinion as to whether or not the potential employee is right for the job.

Instant MBA: When Interviewing Job Candidates, Stop looking For Mr. Right
This article points out that skills sometimes are not on paper, sometimes one must give people a chance. A resume with a lot of skills and attributes are very tempting, but management should always check out the other people applying for the job. This is important as a manager because it shows your willingness to take chances. That person that you were not going to give a chance to may be the person that you are looking for, that will bring your organization to new heights. I agree with this article.
