INSTANT MBA: Never Make Decisions Based On Assumptions
I don't think that a sound business decision can be made on an assumption. A good business person always does research and analysis of a situation first before making a decision. When this is done then the decision that is made is always sound and can stand up to the test of time.

INSTANT MBA: Never Make Decisions Based On Assumptions
It is never wise to make a decision based on an assumption. To make a decision you should at least analyze the situation thoroughly. Look at the outcomes and the factors that affect those outcomes. Assuming only gets in the way of success and even if your assumptions are right it may not last for long because you don't know all of the factors. Assuming my be saving time but may cost a lot.

INSTANT MBA: Never Make Decisions Based On Assumptions
Predictions, analysis, and even expert opinion are all examples of assumptions. When there is no data to support an idea in a business these assumptions are the only tool that top management has to go on. This article discusses that broad and bold assumptions are not acceptable in business dealings. I disagree with this article.
