Paul talks about how becoming more personal with your customers and employees helps with driving your business to more success. This can help in some situations with personal relationships but overall you do not ant to cross that line. That line is somewhere you can not really see. Just have to know and feel if you are becoming to close or to personal with that employee. Knowing your employees can be good in some businesses.

INSTANT MBA: To Better Sell Products, First Build Relationships
I read on this subject in a book by Bob Bourg. Bod said that people like to do business with people they know, like, and trust. People do not need to know some one for an extended period of time to have these feelings but these feelings should be established in order to make a good strong sale that will have a lasting relationship and possible referrals. You know your product and want to inform others of it but first must connect on their level where they don't portray you as a threat. Adversely they should consider you a benefit to know.

INSTANT MBA: To Better Sell Products, First Build Relationships
Establishing relationships and networking are the underlying factors to success that I find are most often overlooked. Being able to communicate and establish common ground with executives of your company sometimes outweighs the degree you may have. All of the schooling in the world cannot lift you above being able to relate to people.

INSTANT MBA: To Better Sell Products, First Build Relationships
I think that it is important to first try and build a relationship with your customer. Most people like to buy things from other people who the already know and trust. So if your customer knows who you are and what you stand for, they will be more likely to buy your merchandise than they would be from someone that they just met.

Instant MBA: To better Sell products, first build relationships When trying to start up a business make sure you build a client list and develop a relationship with them. Chances are they will remember you and want to come back to do business with you. They will want to bring their friends and then your client list will grow. If you leave a bad impression on people and don’t develop a relationship they wont car about you or remember you.

Selling products starts with building a relationship. When building a relationship with customers you must have everything together. if the customers love you product and services, you relationship is most likely good. You won't have problems selling products and services. But if you're always late for appointments with customers or never have enough product, most likely your relationship is bad. Which mean you will have problems selling products and services.

INSTANT MBA: To Better Sell Products, First Build Relationships
The customer is always right, and the customer is the best critic a business can have. If a business wishes to innovate and move forward with better products or services, then that business should focus on their customers opinion. This article discusses the importance of building relationships with not only customers but business partners as well. I agree with this article.
