This is so true. Your customers do most of your "selling". Whether you realize it or not, word of mouth is what can make or break your business. One bad interaction with a customer will lead to them sharing their bad experience with others. However, on the other hand, if you treat your customers with individuality and make each interaction special, it can help your business in more ways than none. Treat every customer with the utmost care. Stick to your guns. Do what's best for your customers and the things they like. It will be worth it in the end.

76 INSTANT MBA: Your Customers Are The Ones Doing 'The Selling For The Company'
I defiantly agree that the customers are the ones who sell the company. For instance, if you sell a product and the customers love what you have produced, they will tell their friends and family about that product. From a previous link it talks about how one person know I think about 500 people close enough to them to invite to a wedding or funeral. Based on that, they have 500 people they could tell how good or bad a product was. With social media it is even faster to accomplish this goal. This is how the word of a product can be spread and therefore selling for the company.
