Communication is an important factor in having a successful business. The best form of communication is face to face meetings. Technology is constantly improving, but sometimes it's better to talk in person than through email. I can vouch for this because my sorority holds weekly meetings. Along with receiveing weeekly emails that let's us know what is going on that week and providing us with important information, it's good to have a group meeting each week as well. Sometimes emails get long and hard to understand something without it being explained in person. It's much easier to communicate with each other our goals, events, ideas, etc. face to face rather than going back and forth via email.

INSTANT MBA: 'Reply-All' Emails Won't Get The Job Done
Once you have established a business of more than 10 employees, communication becomes harder and more important. To ensure everyone is on the same page, employee meetings and workshops should be held often. If it is too complicated to gather all employees on a daily basis, weekly or bi-weekly meetings might work. Either way, mass emails and text are not enough these days to deliver the amount of information and feedback between all employees. There are many technological advances that allow for employees to hold meeting via internet. This is ideal for smaller groups of people. Meeting face-to-face is the best way to get the full effect of what someone is saying and to actually observe their reactions and feelings about an idea.

75 INSTANT MBA: 'Reply-All' Emails Won't Get The Job Done
Just because you send an email to everyone in the company that does not mean you are connecting with them. When I see an email addressed to everyone at work I don’t really read it closely, or possibly ignore it all together. However if the one sending the email would send it to everyone individual people are most likely to read it. Maybe even send the email to all the coordinators and then they can send to their people. I feel that would be a better more efficient way to connect to the whole company.
