INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
Because of current technology, consumers always have high expectations about products and services. As a result of this, companies and entrepreneurs have the challenge to come up with innovative ideas to satisfy the needs of demanding markets. Even though advertising is an important element of a marketing strategy, the product itself should be good enough to attract consumers from the target market. I believe this is the main point of this article. If a company spend more efforts in creating a revolutionary product rather than spending time on advertising, the results can be very positive for the firm. There is not better advertising than spreading the word, which is when everyone out there is talking about the product.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
It would make much more sense to make sure that your product is great before running around telling everyone about it. If you are to busy pitching this product to people and not spending enough time making sure it is perfect, it will definitely effect the success of the product. Personally, if I purchase a product that is just awful I will indeed tell family and friends how awful that product was and advise them not to purchase it. Every heard of "word of mouth"? Once people start to hear how awful your product is less and less people are going to be attracted to it. Instead of putting so much energy into making sure people know about your product, spend some extra time perfecting it. A perfect product will speak for itself.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect I agree with this article.Businesses shouldn't start to market their products until it ready because potential customers will be looking to purchase this product or service as soon as possible. If companies are focused so much on making their product well known instead of actually working to make sure the product is up to par then they would disappoint many customers, making it hard to sell when their product is available. If companies focus on the product then one of the cheapest ways of marking, by word of mouth, will make their product well known quickly,

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
I have seen many products fall short of the leash because they messed up their product from the beginning. A couple of my favorite music artists made a lot of hype about a new album and it turns out to be terrible. That could also mean personal preference about music but i know plenty of stuff in my store that has tried and failed hard. It is important that you make sure you get your product perfect before you put it up on the market.

Instant MBA: Don’t Hype about Your Product until It’s Perfect
I’ve always thought that hyping about your product was just as important as making sure it was perfect. While I understand what this article is trying to express, I don’t exactly agree with it. I do agree that it’s important to make sure that the product you are trying to sell is ‘perfect’, but on the other hand, I also feel like hyping up consumers about the product is important. I feel that should be more of a reason to make SURE that the product is perfect with no flaws, because of the reputation that was built upon ‘hear say’. There is a slight chance that you may sink, but if you make it your duty NOT to, then you won’t. In my opinion, the outcome of a product is based upon the time and effort put into it. If you are committed to the product and aim for nothing less than perfection, then that’s what you’re going to get. My mom always told me, “You get back what you put out,” and in this case it’s definitely true.

71) INSTANT MBA: Don’t hype up your product until its perfect
You never want to hype up your product until you are fully one hundred percent sure that it is ready to be released. You would never want to produce a product that actually does not live up to the standards that you advertise. Not following through with this can create a negative attitude towards your company image. I strongly agree with this article. You should only begin to hype your product up when it lives up to every obligation you intend it to.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
You must make sure your product is perfect before you give it the first debut. We just released a new line of salads at work. They are very good at informing us about a year ahead of what the major changes will be and then slowly working them into the public and shipping the necessary items to the store. Still, they do not even mention the new items until they are ready to "test drive" it in some current stores. For example, they are in the process of releasing a new chargrill sandwich. They have already figured out the seasonings and the new way of cooking the chicken before they even told us of the good news. If you don't rush something, you may create something magical.

INSTANT MBA: Step 'Outside The Bubble' To Learn More About Your Company
This is such an important lesson for everyone. Get out of your comfort zone and see what you can learn. Many of us, stay with what we know to be safe. We can't grow without looking at work a different view. This is how some things become successes. Don't settle for comfortable, get out and involved in other areas and learn from everyone. Take this opportunity to learn new skills, meet employees, and feel how the company works. Many times we forget the steps to succeed when we stay inside "our bubble."

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
I do agree that spending too much time trying to get your name noticed will only hurt you in the long run. Instead, focus on getting whatever your selling perfect. If you're able to do this then your product will do all of the talking for you and this could give you time to work on something new to help build you business even more.

Alt link 71: INSTANT MBA: Step 'Outside The Bubble' To Learn More About Your Company
No one like to be outside of their comfort zone, becasue it makes them feel uncomfrotable. Being able to put yourself into situations you are unfamiliar with will eventually make you more familiar with those situations. The ablility to adapt to changes will give you a competitive edge over someone who simply stays with in their comfort zone all the time.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
Being quick to spread word about your product can stop your business before it really gets going. You don't want to brag about something before you know what it will really do. You want to make sure your product is as good as it can be and then start to pitch it everywhere. If you focus too much on marketing the product, you lose sight of the actual functionality of the product itself. Make a great product, then market it.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
Nice article. Some companies are extremely smart with rolling out new products or services without necessarily “hyping” them. For instance, software companies are increasingly releasing beta versions of software before the finalized product is brought to the market. This is an extremely good way for companies to know what their customers like and dislike about the product or service, as well as fix any potential problems with the product.

In business your reputation is crucial to the survival of your business. It is important to make sure that you product is perfect before you launch it or try and sell it to the public. If you do not ensure that your product is complete, then you could launch and un finished product and potential destroy your business. I liked how the article said that a great product will sell itself. I think that this statement is very important. If your product is perfect and your customers enjoy it they will spread the word about it. If you product is faulty and does not work properly, then they will still spread the word about your product but in a negative manner. It is critical to ensure that the word that is spread about your product is positive to help your business be successful.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Hype Up Your Product Until It's Perfect
I completely agree with this article, and believe it is best to take your time and focus on perfecting your product. At Raising Canes, Todd our CEO, took several years operating just a handful of local stores, in order to make sure he had the perfect business plan. Once he had the business at perfection, it was then that customers started to demand the restaurant's expansion. People loved the quality food and service of Raising Canes, and this got around. It was until over a decade later that Raising Canes had over 100 locations and had expanded into various states. It is now Todd's focus to continue expansion across the nation and market his restaurant, now that he has perfected it.
