I think as human beings, it’s often common to feel shame as a result of failure. In this day and age, it’s not always about what you know but, who you know. This isn’t to say that learning is invaluable, but there’s always someone out there willing to take your spot and there will always be someone smarter. What I’ve come to learn from this article is that you must take the initiative to want to lead and be successful. Failure is never an option unless your best isn’t good enough. In the future, I aim to seek success through my own hard work and yes I may use a few connections but, I determine where I end up in life.

To experience success you must know what it feels like to fail, in order to appreciate something you must know how to lose out on something. Success is constantly happening, even when you fail you are succeeding, although you may have not completed your objective, but you succeed at learning what to do and what not to do. The experience of failure allowed you to know how to eventually succeed. Determination and the will to complete a task is what ultimately makes a person successful, if you believe you will achieve it.

I feel that at least half of the people out there in business knows someone who knows someone or has the money to fund something. But if someone is afraid to fail they might as well not even start because they have already forfeited the mental part of business, which is confidence. Like Cuban says you can fail 100 times but when you're right then you're successful. However, if you aren't confident then I doubt you would get to try number five. I want to be a politician so I will have to be confident all time and never let my guard down. In this field I have watched as republicans constantly give up when they try to get something done (I am republican). They are cowards and are afraid to do anything that may be the right thing to do even though it might mean they lose. I have heard many republicans say they can't fight the ACA because defunding it is a bad idea, or that it will never work because its a losing strategy, or that they have no power. I say they are cowards and are afraid of putting up some sort of an argument to help 90% of people who were happy with what they had.

Link #6 INSTANT MBA: Mark Cuban Says 'It's Not About Money Or Connections'
I agree with Mark Cuban about that you need to outwork the competition in
order to succeed. The more you prove yourself the better off you will be, not only in
your career but also in life. However even though this is the most important thing to
do, money and connections defiantly help a lot. There is a saying, “it’s not what you
know, it’s who you know”. That is true in many situations. If your grandfather is the
CEO of a business, then you already have a little bit of an edge if you wanted to work
for that company. You may get the position just because you are the boss’s grandson.
It is a combination of all three, money, connections and hard work.

INSTANT MBA: Mark Cuban Says 'It's Not About Money Or Connections'
Success is a matter of personal decision-making, lack of compromise, and an ability to self-evaluate; ultimately it is a matter of self-confidence so great that it resonates with everyone and everything you touch. The world cannot control you if you are busy controlling your own world, but to control your world you must build your world and that is impossible connections or funds. This article is asinine, if it holds any validity at all then every college student, every businessperson, and anyone who ever wants to gain an edge in life is wasting their time by being a social creature; which as human beings we are programmed to be social creatures. Why have a job? For Money. For what? To gain the things we need and the things we desire. Can we attain these things alone with no money or help? No, we can not.

INSTANT MBA: Mark Cuban Says 'It's Not About Money Or Connections'
I have agree with everything that Mark Cuban wrote. In todays world to be at the top you have to be willing to outwork and outlearn anybody else in that industry, and when you fail not to just give up. A successful person is someone who doesn't give up when they fail, but take what has happened and learn from it and keep trying till they succeed. Its not always about who you know in todays world, it takes hard work and the willingness to work through failures to become successful.

From experience, i've learned the hard way that learning from your mistakes is the best form of learning. The reason is because it is unlikely that you will make the mistake again. I've lost a lot of money learning from my mistakes but i just look at it as a business expense because if I hadn't learned from my mistake I would have lost even more money. It's a hard lesson to learn but once you grasp the idea, you become ok with it.

INSTANT MBA: Mark Cuban Says 'It's Not About Money Or Connections'
I disagree with this article mainly because a lot of times employers seek out new workers who have been referred by one of the current employees. Some people never get the opportunity to show their skills until after their foot is in the door. However, I do believe that with effort anyone can get the opportunity to get into the career field they want with proper effort.

We have to work hard to be the best at everything we do and even if were not the best we take that time to learn more and become even better. It's important to work hard to become great so that we are successful. We have all sometimes not been the greatest one in the room but it taught you how to become better. That's the only lesson to take from this as long as you learn from your past experiences.

INSTANT MBA: Mark Cuban Says 'It's Not About Money Or Connections'
In this article, Mark Cuban discusses the importance of learning from your failures and never giving up. He also states that working hard by outworking and out learning everyone else is how you succeed. There have been many times I have wanted to give up in my career but have learned to pick myself up and learn from what I did wrong and move on. There are plenty ups and downs in business. Learning what moves to make is important. Outworking and out learning everyone means to give it your all. Coming to work early, staying late, reading up on the latest news that may affect your company or field of work all show employers you are willing to go the distance to get things done and improve yourself and your career.
