Having people on your team with different strengths and outlooks on a project can be greatly beneficial. Use this to the companies' advantage. Having an idea viewed from other people's perspectives can give you insight on how to strengthen or improve the idea. Having someone knowledgeable in an area you are not is helpful.

"Your opinion isn't the only one that matters"
I think there was another article earlier about getting feedback. Feedback really is priceless. The earlier article didn't mention how getting a wide-variety of input from people of various experience. Feedback, good or bad, can always help make better decisions and help make better plans. With my experiences, I'm not going to see all the angles of a situation. By having people with a wide-variety of skills and experiences around me and by getting feedback from them about a situation, will make my decision better because I will have gotten input from areas that I haven't seen or thought of.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
When working in a team, each team member's opinion must be valued and considered before coming to a decision. A single person may not have knowledge and expertise in all fields; however, he/she can have high level of expertise in one particular field. When a team values each member's opinion, this makes the team stronger. Also, opinion from external parties should be considered and their feedback should be taken into account before making a major decision in the line of business.

Scott O'Neil says It’s impossible for an individual to be an expert in numerous different fields. Scott is 100% true. No one is perfect at what they are doing. If you have a team and it’s a high-caliber team and there are experts in various fields, you are significantly stronger as an entity. If you form a team with different expertise, it can help you get the job done of whatever it is. You will get a different respond from every person on that team, that' why I agree with Scott.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
This article could not be more true. Employees and co-workers love to have a sense of entitlement and purpose. By collaborating and asking different workers for different perspectives on certain projects, they believe that they are necessary to make the project work. After a while they may even learn and be able to take on more responsibility.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
You need to be as open as possible and listen to all opinions because some people have great ideas. If you just listen to your own ideas and your own opinions you may miss out on a great opportunity. Think and except everyone may have a great idea and listen to all of them. I am open and love to listen to everyone and think this will help me when I own my own business.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
As a leader, you can not always feel as though your own opinion or belief is the correct way of thinking. If all leaders thought they were an expert in every field by not listening to feedback from others, most would not be successful for very long. Instead, a leader should look for feedback and opinions from many sources to reduce their tendency of engaging in confirmation bias. Companies that are filled with people who seek out others feedback are often the most successful.

Leaders' opinions are not the only ones that matter. One person cannot be an expert in every aspect of the business. It is important to seek the opinions of your employees. Their feedback will be very beneficial to you. If you do ask for their advice, you should also really take into consideration what they have to say. It may not be what you want to hear, or the kind of feedback you were expecting, but you still have to consider it. This will also benefit you because it will motivate your employees knowing they are contributing something good to your company. They will feel appreciated and will want to continue doing things that will help you and your business.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
I agree 100% with this idea. A one person show becomes stagnant, but when many people are involved it can be fun and exciting. The input and ideas of other people is invaluable for any business or project. Those who are open to input will be much better off than those who attempt to do it alone. One point was made that is very important. That point it to seriously consider what is said by the team member. If you continuously ask out of obligation, they will become frustrated and will not want to give input in the future.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters I absolutely agree with the author of this article. Before you launch a product, or even before you start a business, which involves huge investment, feedback do matter. Negative feedback are very important especially before you launch the product, imagine if all those negative feedback happen after you launch the product? which means there is little that can be done to change. Negative feedback are very important they help you as a manager to see other sides which you would not have see had you only had positive feedback. Also, giving employee an opportunity to share their opinion makes employee to feel important and see their ideas valued.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
When making big decisions or launching a new product it is wise to get multiple views and opinions. This will enable a well rounded view of the topic at hand. We should also consider the person's experience when interpreting their opinion because some people can give misleading information. If team members know their feedback matters then they will feel more involved in the final product, which is can lead to motivation and the feeling of inclusiveness.

Everyone cannot be experts in many fields. That is the point of having a team. Everyone in a team is good at something. What one isn’t good at something, someone else is. A team falls back on each other, and they make each other stronger.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters This is true in business you want to get as much feedback as possible. Many business owner don't let to be told about the flaw of their product or business but in realist it can really help boost your company or sales giving the customer what they want, and putting your employees in a position where they feel that are a place in their business where their voice are heard.

This is a good article for the managers and business owners that have that "my way or the highway" kind of thinking. For some people, hearing criticism is hard unless it's positive. Some people are not able to construct from the opinions of others, and only thinks of it as negativity. Accepting the fact that other people can have good ideas is important, but what's most important is to always value another person's opinion and ideas, especially when you ask them for it.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
This article explains how no one is an expert at everything. There will always be someone smarter than you or better than you at something. You must listen and learn from these people so you can run your business the best way possible. Take in whatever knowledge you possibly can and implement it into your business. Trying to do everything yourself will have you thinking one way only. You need other peoples input because they might see certain things from a different perspective. Be able to open up your mind to different opinions.
