INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
This article is very similar to a previous article, but good nonetheless. I think as a manager or owner, you should be accepting towards negative feedback to your ideas and, at the same time, open to changing your ideas even if it’s not what you first intended. Being acceptable to employee’s opinions will increase empowerment, thereby increasing productivity and morale in the business.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
First and foremost, as a manager or entrepreneur, it is hard to remember that you may not always be or know what is best for your company. Remembering that you may need an outside opinion from time to time can be hard, but it is essential in a business. Plus, if you listen to others, they will feel more inclined to come talk to you respectfully and knowledgeably. That will help you and your business grow and thrive.

It is one thing to listen to the feedback of employees but it is another to actually put these ideas into action. If an employee realizes that you put their idea into action their moral will be boosted tremendously.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
We have all heard the saying "two heads is better than one" and it is so very true, especially when it comes to making successful business decisions. Asking for other people's input and feedback on an idea or product can create a better outcome if you actually listen and don't become defensive. Also, asking for feedback and ideas from every person on you staff will create an environment of success in two ways. First, you will have access to different types of personalities with different tastes, educations, and skill sets. Second, by asking for you employees input, you are making them feel heard and important. This will create a great communication within the company and a great work culture.

INSTANT MBA: 'You Have To Be Willing To Do What Other People Aren't'
Destiny is just an excuse for people to be lazy and wait for things to happen instead of making them happen. Nobody will ever become successful without having a plan and being willing to do whatever it takes to step up and make it happen. In my opinion most successful people are the ones who started at the bottom and worked their way to the top. They always thinking ahead and in the best interest of everyone not just themselves.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
Getting an outside opinion can always be helpful. It is possible and happens often that a person overlooks something from having worked on it so long. A fresh opinion never hurts, and could very well help improve your business. Getting the opinion of others can generally help a company see areas that need improvement. It's getting advice by looking through the eyes of someone not attached to the business.

This will benefit the organizations greatly; first, team members will be motivated to do their jobs more efficiently. Second, motivated employees translates into a high performance organization, which will bring success to the company. This article makes a good point about listening even those who don't belong to the team. There can be outsiders who genuinely are experts and want to help the team achieve its targets, so it is important to always listen and take all the information required to make the business thrive. It is very important when working with a team to remember that your opinion is not the only one that matters. The members of the team have each been selected based on individual knowledge and skills and it is important to listen to what they have to say.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
When working in a group it is a good idea to split up the work so that the group can work efficiently. For example, if you have a group project with the topics being accounting, economics, and marketing then it is a good idea to divide the work into three. The people who are good in account should do the accounting part, the people who are good in economics should do the economics part, and the people who are good in marketing should do the marketing part. If the work is split up between people who know about their top then the group should be successful.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
No matter how high you are on a company's totem pole, you can always use the advice and expertise of others within your company, and even outside of your company. You may have the knowledge and experience that got you the position that you are in, but that doesn't mean you know every single thing about the company, and you should always be open enough to ask for other's help and opinions to accomplish a task. Not only does it boost their morale, but it also helps ensure the job gets done correctly the first time.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
When working with a group of people it is very important to think about everyone and their opinions as well as your own. Sometimes as a business owner or manager you have to make decisions that won't please everyone, but feedback and considering their feedback is very important even if the outcome doesn't implement their idea. You can learn so much from listening what others have to say, especially if they are the ones working for you, they should feel empowered and important in the decision making so they feel like they want to execute the final outcome just as well as you do.

Instant MBA: Your Opinion Isn’t the Only One That Matters
When someone is in a position that he/she thinks they are on top of the world and no one else matters they are setting themselves up for disaster. Anyone who is not open for others to comment or question will be doomed. People need to allow others the opportunity to have their say so in order to have communication in a business. Because everyone is important to a business and should have their voice heard.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
It is highly beneficial to get the opinions of everyone around you. Its okay to ask questions, you aren't expected to have all the answers and asking questions doesn't make you look weak. Asking questions and opinions of the people around you may be the determining factor of whether or not your business is effective or not. Someone could point out a major weak point or flaw that you never noticed before or you make take inspiration from something that someone says- it only takes one word out of a person's mouth for that lightbulb moment to go off, you just never know. Also, if you are asking the opinions of your subordinates, you are getting a different perspective on things which can be greatly beneficial.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
The meaning of team is embodied in this article. It doesn’t matter what your job title is, how much money you make, or who you know, while on a project team. In my opinion, even the team leader is on the same level as everyone else. The only thing that the team leader is supposed to do is facilitate brainstorming and collaboration. This perpetuates the feeling that all team members’ ideas are actually reviewed and that each member contributes to all parts of the project.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
As a manager, I think it is important to take the theme of this article into consideration. By understanding that your view on a good is limited, you can gather knowledge and be able to produce a product that is better on many fronts. Your opinion is important, but it is not the only one that can make a good product.

INSTANT MBA: Your Opinion Isn't The Only One That Matters
Just because your a leader doesn't mean you always have the best ideas or opinions. As other people there feedback make them feel part of the team. Its important you really consider what they've said, even if it goes against what you expected or if the feedback isn't positive. This is what makes a good leader great.
