INSTANT MBA: Ask The Right Questions If You Want To Innovate
For those looking to innovate, the answers are generally found in the people right in front of you. The best research you can do comes from real people who deal with real life situations. There is no better teacher than experience, and this does not mean that you have to experience everything first yourself. Network and talk to people who have been in similar situations or who have any type of advice that may apply to you. The people you work with on a daily basis, especially your subordinates, have lots of great ideas and advice that they are more than willing to share with you. Talking to your people and obtaining the knowledge of a group is the best way to learn and innovate.

INSTANT MBA: Ask The Right Questions If You Want To Innovate
Nice read. I think that some business get too wrapped up in the way that the company is ran that the managers/owners overlook what’s going on around them. While it may not be easy, look up and pay attention to your customers and competition and see the pattern of changes that may be taking place. Also, being flexible with change will allow for quick responses to consumers and competition.

INSTANT MBA: Ask The Right Questions If You Want To Innovate
Everyone thinks they want answers. But answers are the second part of any learning experience. Think of learning to do everyday things yourself. You can't just have people telling you what to do or how to do something. If you don't understand what you want to know about, you won't ask good questions, and so you will not learn anything. This concept only intensifies in a business, because there are so many more things that you need to learn and understand. Questions become the focal point of learning in your business.

INSTANT MBA: You Need 3 Things When You Start A Business
I definitely agree that you need all three of these things. Take one away and the other two will fail. Starting a company is so much more than just having an idea and hoping it works. Having the right people to fufill the vision, and having the money for them to do so can only lead to success.

With technology you have more access to your vendors, customers, etc and you can ask them questions and receive feedback to know what your company can do to change and develop. As a leader you should always strive to innovate and develop your company to keep up with the current trends and culture.I agree that the three inputs mentioned in the article are a must to start a business. An idea, money and people are the three inputs that are needed to start a business and maintain one successfully. One person can't succeed without any of these sometime in the business adventure.

INSTANT MBA: Ask The Right Questions If You Want To Innovate
Asking questions can be very helpful when dealing with business. If you own a business it is very important to ask customers what they want to see from your business to help your business improve. The more questions you ask the more you will know about what your customers would like to see from you. Customers should ask questions also. For example, if you own a grocery store and a customer ask you where the shoes are located, by answering the customers question it informs them that shoes are not sold at your grocery store.

INSTANT MBA: Ask The Right Questions If You Want To Innovate
Sometimes it isn't having all the answers that makes you successful in business, rather it's knowing how to get the answers. Asking questions is key to getting the asnwers you need to be successful. Some people are ashamed to ask questions, because they feel they should already know, but in reality, it makes you look and feel worse if you guess and get it wrong than it would've if you would've asked someone to begin with.

It can spark a new idea you never had and you could build upon that idea to innovate a very new project.

INSTANT MBA: Ask The Right Questions If You Want To Innovate
Some adults why away from asking questions, for a multitude of reasons. They don't want to look like they don't have the answers themselves, would be my biggest guess as to why. But asking questions of the people you operate with everyday can really help uncover some unthought of ideas. It can help you uncover what you're weak at and what you're good at so that you can give your innovation some direction. Asking questions doesn't make you look weak- no one person has all of the answers, we have to rely on other people sometimes. Sometimes it can be just a simple word from out of someone else's mouth that can spark and idea in your mind. You just never know where you'll get your inspiration from.

INSTANT MBA: Ask The Right Questions If You Want To Innovate
To innovate takes information, whether it is from internal sources or from clients or customers. When in a meeting, the facilitator or leader needs to be tasked with not just sharing information, but also listening to feedback, either from questions prompting feedback or general feedback from the members of the meeting. Good managers and business leaders will take this information received from the clientele, customers, and employees and review for possibilities to make processes more efficient, or to upgrade current goods or services.

Asking the right questions is another way of saying "get educated in the field you want to expand into". you should always have an exhaustive list of questions to ask when you are looking to innovate and expand your business. Nothing says "i run a successful business" like asking good, hard questions encompassing every step in the process you want to innovate with.
