I agree that this helps companies recruit people who are good for the job. By having a presence on line, companies increase their pools of qualified candidates that they would not have access to otherwise. Yet, I feel because there can be too many candidates applying through automated web sites and that many qualified candidates are eliminated because their resumes are not tailored to the automated resume readers. This is very unfortunate, but until a new system is created, it will be the best option for companies who receives thousands of applicants. Those who are passionate about receiving and interview must stay on top of the situation and be their own top advocate.
