INSTANT MBA: Time Is Money, But More Time Doesn't Equate To More Money
It is correct that putting more time into work does not equate not more money. If you are over working yourself, you are going to lose track of the big picture. Stress can over power you and make you not see obvious things and you might miss something important that is going to make your company lose money. It can also make your job environment bad, because you are going to be stressed and possibly be angry most time. Even if you like your job, you should not overwork yourself, so you can have a healthy work-life balance which will be key to success.

INSTANT MBA: Time Is Money, But More Time Doesn't Equate To More Money
This article discusses the importance of avoiding too much work for uneven compensation. An overworked employee is an ineffective employee. An ineffective employee will make costly mistakes especially if there is not much compensation for their efforts. A manager must be wary of overworking their employees and also be aware of compensation programs such as overtime pay and paid vacations in order to motivate their employees. I agree with this article.
