MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace the Bad Decisions That They Make
I would have to agree with this article. At some point in everyone's life they have made mistakes. There is no way to change what happened, so it only makes sense to learn from those mistakes. Everyone has felt some regret or hurt from a decision they have made, but I think it is fine to make those mistakes, but to do what you can to learn and not make them again. As a leader, I think it is even more important to embrace your mistakes because you have to learn from them for yourself, but you also have to learn for the people you are managing. You don't want the same mistake you made to continue to happen throughout your company. You want them to learn from your mistakes so everyone can do the right thing from then on.

Instant MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make We make decisions based on what we think is right at the time. When we make decisions that aren’t the best then we can learn from those bad decisions. We wont grow if we stay on the safe side and don’t make decisions. No one is perfect so people will make bad decisions no matter but the good thing is we can learn from them and no what not to do after that.

Every successful business person has made a bad decision in there profession. We are all human and not perfect; therefore, it is in our nature to stumble every now and then. The successful ones learn from their mistakes and keep on moving forward to teach other partners not to make the same mistake. Historically, many successful managers and CEOs rarely make bad decisions i.e. Donald Trump. Donald Trump continues to be successful because he doesn't feel the consequences of a bad decision. He learns from it and continues on. He would not be where he is today if he worried about all the bad decisions/investments he made in the past.

Sometimes, bad choices can tell you what you need to work on--either in business or personal life. Everyone makes mistakes, so it's important to not put down or feel bad for yourself when that does happen. Learn from it and learn to never make that same mistake again. Analyze what happened that made you decide that poor decision and learn to not take that approach for the next time the situation arises.

Gregg Fairbrothers says, "It is in moments of regret that we remember how much we care about the mission, how much we love the important people in our lives, how many opportunities we have. And in the depths of this real living are we finally sober enough to make better choices for the future." I agree that leaders need to embrace their bad decision because when they notice it, they can never make a decision like that and also they need to know when to move on.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
Leaders should embrace their mistakes and show that they learn from them. If a leader can not prove that he makes mistakes then he will never learn and his followers won't follow . Everyone makes mistakes because we are human and things happen but if someone can take it an embrace it then one can not lose. This can teach one in the future to not be scared of your mistakes.

"Leaders need to embrace the bad decision that they make"
This article is true for business and personal perspectives. We should always strive to learn form our mistakes. This could be due to a faulty product or plan or even a bad relationship. When we stop learning from our mistakes, we are bound to repeat them. It's like the saying "Those that don't study the past are doomed to repeat it."

Making decisions is a part of every day business life. Sometimes there are hard decisions that require a lot of thought and investigation and sometimes the wrong decision is made. In making wrong decisions, losses may occur. Whether these losses are monetary, employees, managers, or clients, the full extent of the wrong decision doesn't fully register until the loss is realized. Wrong decisions and the losses associated with them are mistakes and although there are consequences, people learn from mistakes and can find ways to better the way they do business from those mistakes.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make.
As humans, none of us can make the right decision all the time. Sometimes what seems like the right decision could be the wrong one. When we do make the wrong decision we need to embrace those consequences that follow. This isn't about feeling sorry for yourself. This is about truly looking at the struggle and what has come about because of the wrong decision. It is important to do this so that we can fully understand how to not have it happen again. If we just let it slide, who is to say that these wrong decisions will ever stop? I really believe in this article. I think it is important to do this every time something doesn't play out the way it should. I believe that the bad times make the good times better. We all have to experience the bad times, but hopefully those bad times bring about good times!

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
This was a good article with many good points about how to deal with decision making on a daily basis. Many leaders may think they have learned from their mistakes simply because they say "I've learned from my mistakes" but if the same situation arose again they would still probably make the wrong choice. Leaders must sit and analyze their mistakes in order to understand what they did wrong and how to fix or avoid it next time. I believe alot of business owners and leaders can benefit from reading this.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
There is nothing worse and more harmful to a company than a leader who is blind to his/her failures. Accountability starts from the top and if the top is not held accountable, the bottom will not respect the top and disregard accountability as well. When I accountable, I do not mean that the said leader should lose his/her job, just acknowledge the fact that they failed and move forward. Learning from mistakes is a vital part of business starting with top management.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
This article gives advice on how to cope with bad decision making and the consequences that follow. Decision-making is one of the most important aspects of being a manager. There will be times when poor decisions are made and there will be a price to pay. In these situations, it is important to really analyze the results of the bad decision and to reflect on what has happened. Take into consideration who was negatively affected by the decision and what you can do to resolve the problem and to ensure it doesn't happen again. If a manager starts to feel sorry for himself/herself or fails to take responsibility, there will be no lesson learned, and the mistake could become reoccurring. Sometimes making a wrong decision isn't the worst, it's how you react after you realize you have made a bad decision that is important.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
As many people say, we learn from our mistakes. By owning up to our decisions we own the mistakes that may take place. This will keep us in the process all the way to the end and make it a much more remembered time than if we were to brush off the mistake after it was made. Leaders especially should own their mistakes because it will give a good impression of responsibility to employees.

INSTANT MBA: Leaders Need To Embrace The Bad Decisions That They Make
Nobody is perfect, and we all make mistakes. We should learn from these mistakes and try to not do them again. Leaders face these issues everyday, and they need to note that when they make a bad decision and they need to correct it accordingly. If you run away from the problem, you will not fix anything and, you will not be prepared for when it happens again. You should not let your emotions take over and take you down, you should re-valuate the problem and make sure you avoid it next time.
